I do not know word for word what our technician told the client But we do not compare what we do nor talk bad about what other companies do The motor was not bad, it was a pressure switch If someone told the client that they had a bad motor then the motor went bad after we left Motors do not make the switch fail We charge by the hour portal to portal, or we flat rate or quote the job We have been doing this for almost years We tried to locate a switch the day we were there The distributor did not have one in stock, we needed to get one shipped in the next day The client called the next day and did not want us to proceed locating a switch

I am rejecting this response because:
~Coopersburg Plumbing tech certainly did compare themselves with another local competitor, *** Heating /Plumbing, saying that they charges a lot more and they" hide" their travel charge in their high price.~Scott(Coopersburg) never mentioned a "portal to portal" charge added to their flat I hour rate when I called for a pre service quoteIf I had been told, I would never have chosen themHe quoted $for first hour- nothing more.~ Scott denied that the motor was badYet he didn't see the heater- he wasn't at my houseAfter Coopersburg's service , I enrolled in a service plan with my local utility company, ***Their tech came out and diagnosed a bad motorAnd it didn't go bad after Coopersburg's visit as Scott repliedMy heater was NON-FUNCTIONING so it was untouched and unaffected after Coopersburg's service callI had no heat- the weather was mild, thank goodnessSo *** came out 10/25/16, replaced the motor(free of charge) and my heat has been working fine since I mailed you copies of the *** repair to confirm thisIt said that the bad motor caused a problem with the pressure valve which he also took care ofI'm trying to obtain a written quote for the first hour service charge from CoopersburgThank you

I am rejecting this response because:10% will not
cover to correct the defective work that I am living with every dayFinal Billing from CCC is and IncorrectIt needs to be resolved first in order to move forward and resolve all of the deficienciesOne of the reasons that I chose CCC is that they advertise that they have their own plumbers, and that you will never have to wait for a subcontractor.I was never told that there was going to be someone other CCC doing the work, I should have been informed.CCC writes, that it had a year working relationship with the subcontractor, the same subcontractor that didn't have a name or license number on his truck, identifying him as a licensed Plumber The same person improperly installed my underslab PVC waste plumbing, resulting in numerous leaks due to improper joint preparation, that had to be cut out and replacedWhen this was shown to Wally,he stated that's how everybody does it I was floored,I demanded CCC get a different plumberI still have photos and the pieces of the defective work as proof. When I asked Wally -”why CCC didn't send their plumbers?”The reply was: “that it was more cost effective! “ Wally reassured me that there won't be any more problems, and that he would stay on top of thingsSame plumber, then installs the waste plumbing for the sink in the laundry room on the wrong side of the roomSo much for reading the blueprint.Another of Wally’s-” I'll stay on top of it” Same plumber then installs hydronic heating tubing for our potable water, some other tubing that was already and years old, easily identifiable from the printed info on *** tubing itselfI have Photos to back up all of the above claims.” Made in China” clamps and fittings were used, that fact alone voids any manufacturer’s warrantyCCC and Wally(senior project manager) insisted that all the plumbing work that was done by their subcontractor was covered by manufacturer(***)warrantyIt took several weeks of constant claims from Wally/CCC, that all the *** tubing was covered by warranty from ***I have all the emails from Wally/ CCC I disproved all of their claimsAll Wally had to do was come out and check for himself.Still getting nowhere with CCCI ,the homeowner ,contacted *** manufacturer for assistance. One of their represantatives from *** made a visit to the home site, took him less than seconds to inform CCC/Wally and their subcontractor plumber, both were present, that the plumbing installation was not done to their standards, using all of their approved fittings, and in fact, some of the tubing was old ,thus voiding the manufacturer warrantyCCC/Wally misled us for a long time before the manufacturer was contactedAnd we didn't even get an apology from CCC or WallyEventually ,the correct type of *** was installedAnd it wasn't because CCC wanted to, they had to So what was the problem? Bad management ,or bait and switch! Just think how many unaware homeowners in years may have received the same treatment as us , because it was “ cost effective”You, the reader, can decide for yourself The entire situation about the house not being finished, the house is in fact not finished! Your contract reads as follows“10% Deposit, Progress Payments, Balance Due on Completion “ The deposit and progress payments have been, as per your contract, promptly paidI have one of CCC payments printouts ,as evidence ,that they were paid as requested The home as of 05/27/is still not finishedIt wasn't finished ,when the mortgage company inspected the home ,their report indicates that it is not completeWe were told by Wally /CCC that all inspections, code and municipal were completed and approved, and that we could move in.This was also false,as we found out on April 20.Certificate of occupancy was issued on April 28.All was initiated by the homeowners. So for month my family was illegaly living in the house after the builder/CCC/Wally told us that all the requred inspection were passed ,and we had approval to move in.The true fact is that the home failed the code inspection, and the municipal inspection was never performedThese facts were revealed after I started making calls, and asking my municipal inspector about my certificate of occupancy About the shower doors, yes, the grout was and still is discolored.Attempted grout repairs, first of all,the times that CCC claims, the grout was never fully removed.Little bit here, little bit there.Grout looks like a quilt. My tiles also have raised sharp edges in the seating area,as well as on the floor panThey are also damaged from careless grout removal, and need to be replaced. This a safety issue for the user.By the way,CCC offered to paint my grout.I refused that,it is a temporary fix. This is a brand new home.CCC also damaged my *** tub, after failed repair attempts, tub is still damaged. It was ordered and paid by the homeowner, tub was brand new,not purchased at the scratch and dent sale. What about my damaged wood floor?front door?deck door?visibly bowed and not plumb walls?leaking toilet(health issue that CCC simply ignores)?carpet seams and holes in the carpet? The list of things is very long. This a result of poor management and defective/below standard workmanshipAll was shown to the president of CCC Fred D*** and senior Project manager, aka Wally ,when they both came out to the house on March of 2016.Coopersburg Construction Corphas yet to provide their version of the PUNCH List, what is on it,and how all the construction and plumbing issues will be corrected,is a BIG SECRET.Regarding all multiple billing errors that CCC says were justifiedThis is false Charges for goods and services that are stated in the contract, that were never performed by the CCC, still to this day, have not been addressed.CCC was made aware, they feel that they get to keep moneys for services that they knowingly never providedUnauthorised use of utilities prior to taking possession of the homeOne may define unauthorised us as theft When CCC was questioned ,Wally stated it was my problem. And that they're not paying. For the homeowner to provide utilities while the home is being built is also not in the contractThis must be what they feel are justified chargesJust like other Revdex.com customer stated on 11/16/2014: “When I stated my opinion on the matter, Wally said, "well we just take money wherever we can get it!!" Further proof that CCC practices the above stated logic. The subject of hold backThe contract makes no mention, only states Balance due on completion. The true balance has yet to be resolved and the home yet to be completed. For CCC edification : If anything substantial is incomplete or needs major repair, it does not belong on the punch list but should be completed before demanding final payment It is common to hold back 200% of the value of the punch list items, under the theory that if the contractor does not complete them, you can hire another contractorOf course another contractor may charge a lot more than your contractor is allocating to do that work To guard against the contractor undervaluing the punch list work, and to provide an incentive for him to get the work done in a timely manner, it’s best to hold back a bit more CCC wants me to hold 10% of the balance(yet to be accurate).10% will not cover to correct the defective work that I am living with every day.For months, I have a plastic sheet covering my master bedroom door,CCC put it there to stop the rain and snow from coming in.I can’t use my deck.CCC is fully aware about the leaking french door since it was first installed,This was proven by a representative from *** millwork the supplier of the door. That the door was installed improperly.Adjustment won't correct cracked wood frame or striped hinge mounting areas caused by all the previous attempts by CCC to correct the problemFred D*** was shown that door,he stated that he can see that it is an installation issue, and what CCC does? NOTHINGAll of the above must be CCC’s definition of work performed in a workmanlike manner.Regards,*** ***

in the spirit of moving forward we will accept the payment of 120.00 dollars that the client just sent us.  We will internally credit her account and her balance will be 0.00

I do not know word for word what our technician told the client.  But we do not compare what we do nor talk bad about what other companies do.  The motor was not bad, it was a pressure switch.  If someone told the client that they had a bad motor...

then the motor went bad after we left.  Motors do not make the switch fail.  We charge by the hour portal to portal, or we flat rate or quote the job.  We have been doing this for almost 40 years.   We tried to locate a switch the day we were there.  The distributor did not have one in stock, we needed to get one shipped in the next day.  The client called the next day and did not want us to proceed locating a switch.
