We moved into our house under a year ago and immediately started receiving scam letters from this company trying to bait my wife and I into purchasing their magazines. I have received multiple letters and so has my wife. Now, today, I get a collection letter from a collection agency for this company. I've never purchased a magazine in my life, nor would I ever, especially from this company. This is completely fraudulent and needs to be fixed immediately. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General in MI and NC immediately.

Our records show an order for OK magazine and People magazine placed for Amber Adams at 5116 Jewelflower Rd, Charlotte, NC on 1/7/19 for a total of $183.61. It was placed on our website and requested to be billed in 3 payments. Thank you for letting us know that you did not place this order. Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 13595589, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

If you have my wife listed, why are you sending me to collections? That does not make sense. We have never ordered (or received) magazines.

I'm rejecting your response as I want in writing that you will be removing the account from collections from my name and ensuring you won't be sending my wife to collections either. I would also like you to remove us from any mailing list you have.

Upon confirmation that you have done those things, I will accept a resolution.

Regards

I am filing a complaint because this company allowed someone to twice fraudulently use my credit card information for my business SL Productions, LLC on their website to order magazine subscriptions. I received a magazine that I did not order and the address was actually wrong they had it listed at *** but had my name spelled *** (my name is ***s) . They should not have allowed someone to place an order without the correct billing address. They told me the other address they allowed to place an order in New York when I live in Greensboro. When I called them they said this is very common that there many times that people place fraudulent orders as a prank etc. I think if they know that then they should put more effort into preventing these charges.

Beginning investigation

Purchased New England Home Magaine on 28 March 2017 as of today 3 July 2017 have not received an issue.Called the number on my credit card and the website *** where the caller is forced to listen to over three 3 minutes of sales advertisements then redirected to another telephone number where the caller is forced to listen to more advertisement then asked if this is business commercial or residential when the caller answers they are connected to directory assistance.I completed a cancellation and refund request because the website statesquotCUSTOMER SERVICEIf you are ever unhappy with our service we will do whatever it takes to make it right - even a 100 cash refund if you choosequot and have not received a response.I have contacted my credit card company and registered a dispute.

AAUW/MagazineLine Response

Customer was calling the incorrect 800 number. Our number is and we are available seven days per week 8am - 12am. It appears that she transposed the numbers when she was dialing. All customer complaints/questions are taken very seriously and our guarantee is complete satisfaction.

Customer notified us via the internet and the order was cancelled with a full refund issued on 7/7/17. This credit should have been processed back to her credit card used in the original purchase.

If you have any further questions - please contact me at .
