Scam.... Hang Up Now..... Worst experience ever. It started out as harmless because who wouldn't want to eliminate your credit card debt but then after I researched their company, while still on the phone with them. I read the reviews, one I mentioned a review about charging someone card for services not giving. So I asked about that and the guy told me I can believe what I want to believe about the reviews I'm reading. So then I decided to cancel and not move forward with them. Then I asked if they were going to charge my card? And they said yes and I said "for what?" They said for talking to us But "you guys called me.", I said. So I said I do Not want to move forward with your organization. Cancel everything. The representative said they are going to charge my card. I said, " we will see about that." and hung up. Then I called my credit card companies and cancelled my cards. What a head ache and a waste of time. I felt harassed, misguided, unsafe. I am not a customer.. I will never be a customer... we were only on the phone for 25 mins which most of the time I was researching the organization.

They trick you into believing what there selling and take your money then do nothing they said
They tell you they can erase your debt to credit card companies
They max out your highest card then tell you to pay 3 months then stop they say they will go to court and get all your debt cleared but they don't you just end up owing more when you get sued

Desired Outcome

They charged my credit card over 3500$ and fid nothing they said

It's a SCAM Hang UP!! They posed as Revdex.com and wanted my credit card information.

I received what appeared to be an innocent call from a representative of ACRO named Robert and transferred to Chris. The rep's were very insistent on everything. Also, indicated had no control over who qualified for the program and/or name's so could not contact you at a future date to engage in the agreement. They would call you back endlessly to get you to sign up, but not in a few months or not after you received any paperwork... ACRO wanted detail financial information and for you to agree over the phone and described in very general terms what was going to happen and what you needed to do to an end result after 18months as everything was great; your debt eliminated and your credit score renewed. It sounds to good to be true. Their sales practice is unnerving and extremely suspicious. I have no idea if this would have been a good idea, but my inclination is it would have turned out as worst case possible; use your imagination.

American Consumer rRghts Organization owes me a refund which has not been paid since November of 2018.
TriStar Consumer Law or American Consumer Rights Organization agreed to refund my upfront fees for their services. We did a mutual agreement to dissolve our previous agreement. I sent the signed second agreement to dissolve their contract in November of 2018 and now no one will return my calls. I am paying interest on the money that was charged to my credit card for over a year now. I have no hope in sight that they will refund this money and I feel that I have waited long enough for the refund that they agreed to. I have sent them a certified letter letting them know that I'm expecting the refund.

Desired Outcome

I need a refund of my up front fees plus interest 4 a year.

I received what appeared to be an innocent call from a representative of ACRO named Marlene who was offering a reduction in interest rate on one of my credit cards. As I resisted more and more of my personal information that she requested, and then demanded, the call became more and more suspicious. When I finally hung up, I was harassed by multiple return calls to my cell phone, and I finally had to block her number from my phone. Due to the information that I also had provided to her, at first with trust of the intent of the call, as soon as I hung up with them I called the credit card company and closed all activity on that credit card. I requested a new number and new card so that my account would not be compromised by any activity they may have tried on that account. I would classify the number of calls and the intensity in her voice during the calls as harassment. I lost no funds through this exchange, however, reading what others went through I am glad that I hung up and blocked my phone from future calls when I did. I would urge all others to beware of any calls or interactions with ACRO.

I didn't receive the service and they won't refund my $1,800!
I was contacted by ACRO TriStar to decrease my credit card rates, I had just paid everything off. I could not go through the service because it was a car loan and the sales person told me not to reveal that to ACRO. I did and declined the offer. Now I can't reach anyone who can tell me how to get my refund of $1,800! I've called multiple times, emailed to no avail. My credit was good until I did that - Now I'm stuck paying it back . . . Not fair!

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund for the $1,800

they weren't able to provide the service I had required so when I asked for a refund 2 months ago , I'm still waiting they have no proof of the refund
this company was paid $591 to get me approved for a low interest loan, they weren't able to provide such service so I requested a refund, I call them and they aren't able to provide me information on my refund, its now been 2 months almost starting into the third and have yet to receive any information. When I called the company this morning I was told to go somewhere else with my problems and then hung up.

Desired Outcome

I would like my money returned to me as soon as possible.

I want a refund of my $300 charged to a credit card for services that I chose not to receive from this business and I signed nothing.
I received a call from A.C.R.O. services on 11/01/2019 , saying they can lower interest rates on my credit cards since I've made all payments on time. The first gentleman said they could save me minimum of 6,000 and took all of my credit card account numbers, I suspiciously gave. This man then transferred me to another gentleman that told me they can save me minimum of $3,000, I questioned the difference in amounts but was not given any real answer.( red flag #2) Then this gentleman said that I had to give permission to charge $800 across 2 credit cards in order to move forward.( red flag # 3). He asked if I give permission, I asked what if I change my mind and he said I'd get my money back , so I said " yes" , then he turned on a recorder and asked me if I give permission, I said "yes" again. This gentleman asked for my mother's maiden name, I asked "why he needed it" ? He said we couldn't move forward without it so I hesitantly tell him ( red flag #4) I only gave it because I thought maybe it was necessary in the process. We then end this call. I am so suspicious so I decide to Google the company to find so many negative posts that it scared me. I rush to lock all my credit cards to prevent the charges, but I missed one ..the one they wanted to charge the $300 of the upfront fee...so they charged it. I didn't know until Monday 11/4/2019 when I went to Credit Karma. I had also received a call from a lady with the company and I quickly told her that I no longer want to do business with their company! She asked "why" I told her because I read all about them online. Later in the day after I seen the charge I then called my credit card company and the gentleman there told me to contact the company about the refund also that I can dispute the charges. I call the company and talk to a woman that said all that was there at this time was big bosses that were in a meeting. I tell her why I was calling and to have one of the big bosses to return my call. A man, I suppose is a big boss calls approximately an hour later and had already known the reason for my call so he was ready to dispute the entire situation. He kept saying that I gave permission for the charge and I kept saying that I received no service so I want my money. He got upset as I kept over talking him, we both kept repeating the same things. He then told me that he wasn't going to let me talk to him or any of his ?? like that and he told me that I'm not getting my money as he was angry. He then mentioned about the other card that was to be charged the remaining $500 , how it was declined and I said " as, I locked the card and also put a fraud alert with the credit bureau".!! He got very mad and said " then we have nothing to talk about " and he abruptly hung up.

Desired Outcome

I received NO service whatsoever from this company. I signed NO contract , I provided No signature, not even an electronic one! I am not bound to any contract or service from them. I can't be forced to take services from anyone nor pay for any service that was not received. I would appreciate the $300.00 being refunded to my credit card.

Customer Response • Dec 02, 2019

This company has refunded the full $300
This case has been resolved.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Customer Response • Dec 04, 2019

Hi, I am sorry I made a mistake. The company has not resolved this. My credit card company was the one to refund it to my account on a temporary basis while they still investigate. They will then decide if it stays or that make it back.
I thank you much for your time to help resolve this matter.

I am a mobile notary and I performed a service for this company on Aug 20th 2019. I was told I would receive payment net 30 days. We are now 52 days .
I have emailed the companies billing department several times to just get told they will let their accounting dept know. In addition I've been left on hold several times when trying to resolve this matter by a Patrick ***. He would disconnect me when I called back to try and verify payment status.

Desired Outcome

I am expecting payment be made for the service that was rendered.

Customer Response • Oct 22, 2019

Consumer indicated they have heard from the company, but the issue has not been resolved. Comments follow below:
The company sent me payment the day I filed my claim. But they did not send me the entire billed amount for the service. Plus payment was made close to 30 days past due so interest was tagged on to service. Either way, the company handled themselves very unprofessional.. Hanging up on me, redirecting my calls and so forth. I will not do work for their company again

I was appalled by the unprofessionalism of the agent over our phone call. She was rude and obnoxious, her name was Elizabeth. Poor customer service
I had an appointment with a representative from American Consumer Rights Organazation today, to discuss them helping me to transfer my high credit card balances to a new credit card with a zero balance, with a fee of $600 charged for these services. The representative was rude and obnoxious, I told her I didn't feel like I wanted to do business with an organization as this, that had such poor customer service as this. She did transfer me to her supervisor, I had to leave a message for him to call me back, I let him know I no longer wanted to be a part of this program, due to lack of professionalism as this. I also mentioned to him that I wanted him to refund my Capitol One Credit card the $600 that I agreed to on September 12, 2019. I no loner want to be affiliated with this organization. After this negative experience, I went to the Revdex.com website, and was made aware of their rating of an F, it made me ill.

Desired Outcome

Refund on my Capitol One Credit card, of $600

Due to the inability of ACRO to hold up their end of the contract. My credit has been comparomised.
The ACRO advised me to stop payment on my credit cards as of August 2019. They charged me $3200.00 as a retainer fee. Then a large sum of money $1600.00 a piece was added onto 2 of my credit cards. This caused my fees to go up. I was advised to not communicate with my creditors, The ACRO would handle it. Due to them not holding up their end of the contract the creditors continuously called and harassed me. which affected my credit. I called to have this money refunded back to me as of September 16, 2019 nothing has been done. They also were going to charge me $20.00 per month for them handling this case.

Desired Outcome

I would like my money refunded and a conformation in writing that every thing has been refunded and no further contact form this business.
