***, the repairs where done according to your budget, as a matter of fact, the price you ended up paying was less than the cost to build the job as you already know
Since you could not afford a brand new deck even when you where aware of all
the issues that the job was going to have after finishing, you had agreed to go ahead with the work and if you remember well my comment was, that after getting your mortgage insurance co, to pay for your roof and siding I said that we where going to be able to make money of that job to offset the cost of the deck as you couldn't afford to pay our Estimated cost to build your project
You had also mentioned you could't afford to pay your deductible and that the last time a company did your roof and work on your claim that they did not charge your deductible, I had mentioned to you that we could't do that because is against the law to do that, there for our alternative to offer was either pay the deductible in payments, payments or $up front and payments for months
If you have found that I other wise told you different please check your notes and see what is correct
The issue with your deck as we said from the beginning is that the old post that hold the deck are warped and twisted, not only that but also they are not properly distanced, you know very well we spent more time trying to make the imperfections caused by the existing post than what a contractors should for the cost you where paying
Specially because your boyfriend kept interrupting the workers with comments that did not make any sense for a person who say is carpenter, with all your guys respect I must tell you that my subs where refusing to come back to the job because so many improper comments and harassment or so they felt during the construction of the projectAs I mentioned my company tries to help people like you and if you are an honest person you should know that we went the extra mile by cleaning debris and junk out of your yard and garage at no cost to you, we repair under your sliding door for lees that the cost of materials and did many other things to try to earn your Claims' siding and roofing business as you where recommended by your Niece
Please know that we are in the business to make money but also to satisfy costumers for what they are paying forPlease know that at one point there is only so much we can do for people like you and that my work has gone above and beyond what you said to be able to afford for this jobAlso we accept all complements and or comments but are not obligated to be abused either verbally or any other way and that any negative comments before we finish our work is accepted from someone who understand and knows the trade as long as the comment is made with respect and that we tend to shy away from replying to people who are under the influence of any substance or alcohol
I will be more that happy to come and install as per our contract and agreement the original top railing on your deck which is a 1" X 6" treated wood and I must tell you, that if that does not work due to the existing posts you couldn't afford to replace, you have the option to pay another contractor that may have a solution other than the one we have given to you at no cost
I have tried to make my subs to go back and replace the railing on your deck which we had to splice in two pieces in order to make it work around the issues of the existing post, but they refuse as they felt a very poor understanding from you and your boyfriends part, plus comments they have said where made which they felt where unnecessary and very ignorant
Please Know *** that since you where recommended by your niece that I tried to help far more than I should and that at the end of the project I did advice you of the issues your deck was going to have due to your budget limitations
Rain has done what I advised you *** and I have promised to come back ad fix the issue by replacing the wood I please suggest you that you make comments that are facts as it is offensive for you to assert that material used are not treated, comments like this and other comments that are not even worth to be mentioned are the thing that frustrated our subs, I apologize for being away weeks as the person who recommended me to you knows, we are a very responsible company and we will stand by our warranties and workmanship, please know that by the end of this week we will have your top hand rail replaced and that if there is any other concerns they need to be address for us to be able to help with them
Lastly your request to fix your railing or get your money back seems to me the example of exaggeration as per contrary I would like to come to an agreement that if there is additional work needed outside the Estimate, that you make the commitment to pay for the extra work the deck is needed before anything outside the original Estimate need attention or you hire a different contractor to help you further with what is not part of our contract

I don't feel that the complaint has been resolved because Ricardo contacted me on August 3,stating that he will try his best to get to my deck done that weekOn August 4,2015,I asked him what date and time he stated that he would be coming by my house that day or the next day to take a material count.He also stated that he will do his best to make it look good I told him it needs to be safe alsoHe agreed by saying okRicardo has not contacted me since nor has he made any repairs to my deckI have documentation of the conversations I had with Ricardo and pictures of the deckMy fiance,because I don't have a boyfriend was just looking out for meRicardo stated that he admire my fiance for watching out for me and stated that is honorableI would have appreciated Ricardo letting me know before he took the job that he was looking forward to doing more work for me.I would have consider his company but I took too long for the deck to be doneI couldn't take a chance of my roof and siding taking a long length of time and not being done correctlyI found out that he took the job based on the roof and siding repairs on July 6,after the deck was doneI have pictures of the part of the deck that need repairsI would like to resolve this as soon as possible
