We did respond to the call of this leakWe can out and looked at the chimney and all the roofing replacement we have done was properly installedWe did explain to mr.james that there is an issue with the Siding area on the chimney that seemed to be the issueThe roof did cost $which we had
the insurance company cover which the homeowner himself we work with for almost a year to finally get the roof covered with no out of pocket money to him at allBut our contract only covers what the insurance company pays for and any other work is extraThe insurance didn't cover new flashing on the chimney nor were we paid to do anything to further look into what the leak is coming from due to the chimneyWe are more than glad to come and fix whatever is leaking due to the chimney which could be a few different things but there is a cost with thatBut whatever the leak is coming from is not from when we installed the roofWe can be contacted for a total cost of to repair the chimney and whatever it needs

I did go out there and did look at the issue prior to this an animal continues to go up on the roof and has chewed the area that I
repaired prior which we do not cover under warranty issues with animalsMs*** has sent me a nasty text stating the reasons for the leak was from us and that she was going to sue me, which I took a little personal because this happened before and again was an animalThrough he whole season nothing was an issueThis issue will continue to happen when animals get on the roof from the tree that is right up against the back of the houseI spoke with *** through a text I didn't know who she was at first because I got that text stating it was all our companies fault but we are not responsible for animalsI asked who the text was from and no one replied or answeredIf she wants to call or send me a text I can do a repair but there will be a repair cost and again the problem will continue to happen until the animal problem is taken care of

Since I received no response from Mr*** I contacted another roofing company and they came and repaired the issue with a cost of over $They did not see any animal damage and stated that the skylight was caulked incorrectly and that there was flashing missing from sections of the roofAlso that the wood that was supposed to be replaced when the tear off was done was not replacedI also still have the damage to the interior of my home which has not been addressed due to Mr*** not completing this job correctlyPrior to Mr*** doing this work there was no leak in that area (upper peak)No animal issues! He originally fixed the roof because it buckled on the lower peak due to wind damage

Since I received no response from Mr. [redacted] I contacted another roofing company and they came and repaired the issue with a cost of over $800.00. They did not see any animal damage and stated that the skylight was caulked incorrectly and that there was flashing missing from sections of the roof. American Contractors Apologizes for any problems you had with our workers that did construction one your home. I did...

advise that we would credit you for the stuff that got damaged due to the construction of your home. As a gesture I also went to menards and sent a few hundred dollars on new things for the outside of your house to assure you we were going to refund you for the flowers that got stepped on and the post on the fence which in fact was already in bad shape, but I wanted to do everything to make you happy. As for the trailer home I could not do the work there for her because she wanted to take the money the insurance gave her to do hings to the house that the insurance didn't pay for which that is fraud and our company does not do that, I also didn't take on the job because there was no profit in the money allowed in what she had to do the work. your neighbor has fired our company due to whatever you have told them about our company. You also referred us to a friend of yours out in Geneva which was a huge success for her and for us. finished everything professionally and the house looks amazing and she had nothing but GREAT reviews on our work. As the MANAGER of American Contractors USA Inc. I am NOT the owner, the owner is [redacted], but she takes PRIDE in each and every homeowner. I apologize a billion times over the experience you had with our company was not good. We have fired those workers and adjusted so we would have no further incidents that has happened at your property. I have also tried meeting you as ADULTS to go over everything to correct everything to come to and agreed total price with what work we completed and at we owed you for the damages. I was ignored for months with a concern about that roof that you had that I wanted to address that if anything needed to be done we would take care of it ASAP so no matters (if any) did occur. Why wait for months if this was a huge concern that I wanted to address asap. I understand your frustration but our company wanted to just get everything finshed and come to an agreement and square everything away so you were satisfied and we could close out work.You were correct on one things that you paid us a little over 6,000 dollars for a large job that cost over 20,000 total. I would like to arrange a meeting with you and your husband to go over anything to get squared away so we can close out job. We are3 not a very large company but my wifes company is what pays for our house my 3 kids food and to get us what we need in life but to hold back a very large amount from us when I have repeated to get things resolved in a timley matter has been difficult for bills and set us back with our supplier and this is now getting to a point of doing this over anger. [redacted] (the owner) had to place a lien on the property because her company would like to arrange something ASAP to resolve this matter and get everything squared away. Again we apologize over and over about some of the things you had to deal with but we assure you, as a company, made the necessary adjustments to prevent anything in the future. As a contractor to a Homeowner if you could call me I would like to have a meeting to go over all the stuff get everything squared.

This business has been closed but to sum up this ordeal the contract that was said in contract. When the company was open the business did have the roof Siding and gutters replaced from insurance company. As a good gesture we were able to do all downspouts that were not paid for by statefarm in the...

estimate let alone oversized downspouts as an upgrade. We also painted the trim as an extra which was not by statefarm only a verbal agreement. As a favor not of contract I had a guy come redo the ceiling in the bathroom and paint the ceiling. As a result we are not professional in interior design I did this as a favor. I had a guy sent over there to finish the job that was a professional and my inside guy I hired came back and said he felt discriminated because of the way he looked and that there ended our favor on the job. I also for my future business that I plan to open will not be on the Revdex.com anymore due to having to deal with many homeowners that want everything handed to them or free and this has been a learning lesson to me and my future projects. But again this business is closed down and I am not even end in the state illinois anymore.

I had american contractors do my roof not so long ago. The work they do is excellent. I was very satisfied with the work done on my roof. They r fast, reliable and experts on what they do.
