Regarding Complaint ***We are responding to the complaint we received by phone on June 16, 2017, by the Revdex.com concerning a customer’s complaint named *** *** On February 23rd, 2017, Mr *** entered a contract with Equity Risk Services, and NOT American
Cosigners However, American Cosigners is a third-party service in contract with Equity Risk Services, who provide processing services for Equity Risk Management American Cosigners, do not accept any form of payments by customers, renters or occupants As a cosigning processor for Equity Risk Management Corporation, we processed the application for Mr***’s Move in, which the apartment was approved for his move in on February 26th, 2017, Days later, Mr***, decided not to live in the apartment because he’d stated it was too far away from his job Per the cosigners contract agreement? It is states, once the apartment is approved for a renters move in, there fee’s become nonrefundable Therefore, as a Regional Manager of American Cosigners, I do feel, his complaint is un justifiable I have also spoken to Equity Risk Management concerning this complaint in which they stated, they will not refund his money, due to the fact Mr***, went into an Eviction, which resulted Equity Risk Management to pay all Attorneys feeseviction fee’s on behalf of Mr*** for walking away from the apartment If you should have any additional questions please feel free to contact me by email.Thank you,John S*Regional General Manager

I am rejecting this response because: The apartment community a American Cosigners told me they were submitting me to was never discussed with or approved by me.  I have an email between myself and Julia D[redacted] stating this.  She the told me that the community I chose did not work with corporate cosigners, to which I responded by asking if they had a list of communities in Colorado that they worked with.  She was not able to provide a list.  That is when I requested information regarding the process to get a refund.  After which they stopped communication.  I was never sent any information regarding a move in date at the community they selected. Nothing regarding who to contact, when to pickup key or that a lease had been signed.  All communication ceased after I left a voice mail regarding the refund process and that call was made on March 27, 2017.
