Review: I was very happy with the black slip on mufflers I purchased.The website said tradein mufflers must be of a high quality with no scratches or discoloration.My stock piped were in great shape. No scratched, no dents, no discoloration.They refused to credit me the $ 85 that they advertise.I have no dought they will resale my pipes for a profit.Very disappointed in their tradein policy.I could have saved the $ 35 it cost me to mail them to American Custom.[redacted]

As our website, our confirmation e-mails, & sales representatives clearly state, "If you need your order right away, order the pre-made pipes and send us your stock pipes within 30 days of your original order. We will refund $75 to you if they are in "new" (no scratches or dents) condition ($100 for your 2010 and newer 2-into-2 header pipes. We do not accept any 2-into-1 2010 header pipes from [redacted] and [redacted] models). You can ship your pipes to us in the same box your order was shipped in. We do not accept pre-2007 Touring pipes and pipes with catalytic converters. We reserve the right to determine the condition at our sole discretion. Please understand that we can only accept pipes in the best condition in order to provide all of our customers with the best possible quality." reference: http://www.americancustom.com/faq/ In any event, we did not find Mr. [redacted]'s core mufflers to be in acceptable condition for the core refund. We still have his mufflers in storage, and would be happy to provide photographs of the blemishes that make them unacceptable. Typically, we'd charge our flat rate of $24.95 to ship back any unacceptable mufflers- though as an offer of resolution, we'd be happy to ship back the rejected mufflers free of charge. We cannot and will not refund any amount as the muffler do not meet the required to criteria to qualify.

I know the mufflets were in excellant condition, and therefore I should have been given a credit for them.
