o Initial meeting with customer was June 10, 2013 at I I a.m. Customer was presented with many options for replacement of home over the course of the next two months until customer had reached decision and contract was signed.
Contract was signed with customer...

on August 23,2013, after several meetings with customer to select floor plan and options and to approve pricing.
. Our company and customer initiated a series of phone calls with [redacted] to receive initial deposit to begin work. Weekly and sometimes daily, lengthy conference calls were attempted.
. Much additional documentation was required by bank from customer and insurance company.
Contractor began process of obtaining permits from county, Building permit was issued on October 2,2013.
First draw was received from bank on September 18, 2013. Process to that point dealing with bank was almost one month.
We as contractor began the process of submitting the project to various subcontractors to get bids on doing each portion of the job.
Process was continued with [redacted] of weekly and sometimes daily, lengthy conference calls to try to determine their criteria for releasing funds to pay balance on house so it could be delivered.
On or before November 19, 2013, [redacted] bank revealed that total amount of those funds would not be forthcoming at which time other funds were secured to be sent to pay for the home so it could be delivered.
on November 22,2013, funds were mailed from bank to customer who had to endorse the check before funds could be
used to pay balance due on home.
Balance on home was paid the following week.
. When we met with the crane company we found out that the electrical lines had to be taken down. The electric company said that their state regulations said that they could not do the electrical lines until the temperature was above 40 degrees. The electric company kept diligent watch and kept in touch with us about possible dates.
The unusually severe and cold winter prevented the set from being scheduled quickly. we have emails to support the communications.
. After many attempts, [redacted] was able to set appointment for February 28,2014.
. Home had been previously delivered to off-site location since it could not be
delivered to site until lines were removed.
. Home was set and inspection completed by March 6,2014.
. All work has been completed and final inspection has been scheduled for April 17 ,2014.
To summarize, the problem has been issues that are beyond our control. The customer's bank caused excessive delays all along the way. The delays at the bank were with customer on the line so that he has been witness to them.
Severity of weather was record-breaking this winter. The manufacturer of home said that their lot was full of undeliverable homes; we were one of the few that had
accepted delivery.
We understand customer's extreme frustration. Theft suffered one of the most serious losses imaginable - the loss of their home by fire. They have been extremely inconvenienced and they have our utmost sympathy. I believe they have already started moving in and the best news is that they love their home.

Review: We lost our home due to a fire on April 14, 2013. we lost everything we owned. we chose American Dream Homes LLC to put in a modluar home. they promised to have our home completed before thanksgiving. its now almost a year later and thanks to this business were no step closer. [redacted] is the owner. Our home is now sitting in [redacted], its nowhere near finished. This business never calls and updates us on anything. blames the weather on the home not being finished, yet they dont even work on nice days. this entire home was promised to be finished 30 days after the home was delivered. I called today, asking why our home still wasnt being worked on, her answer was they are waiting in porch materials, which sadly is a flat out lie, the wood, etc is all laying inside the house. Its gotten so long, the bank is on us to get it inspected, but of course we cant because of this business. Were now told our home will be done by april 14 2014. I dont trust this place at all! if I could go back id never pick a more sadly run business! also I might add, my fiance and I went into the home to look over it, only to find cups laying busted open in my brand new home along with cigarette butts!!!! a brand new home! This place needs to be looked into and investigated! they've yet to hook the electric up, plumbing, carpet, drywall, porch, stairs, and roof. none have been completed!!! and yet were promised to be living in it by april 14??Desired Settlement: I would be so thankful just to have our home completed on time. thanks my only desired outcome. I waited and waited to file a complaint, because I was being so understanding of theweather, but when you have a great day like today 70s and yet they still arent working? even if they were waiting on matrials for porch they could be getting other things done as well...
