I will refund *** *** as soon as I can get the funds. In reviewing the recordings of her conversation with AES, there was no promise of a $payment for months. I do see that *** used the lowest paystub available and may have over-reported family size. Based on her stated income of $48,per year, we can do a Payment Plan switch to the Graduated Plan which will be approximately $per month. That would still be about $less than she said she was paying before. Plus, she has had a year of $payments that should go through September of this year. Most importantly, she GOT A CONSOLIDATION that got her OUT OF DEFAULT and stopped her negative credit reporting. She said on the recording she was probably a year behind at that point. For her information, at the time of re-certification, she can also get into the ICR at about $per month for months that will have approximately $4,forgiven. The payments go up if her income rises, but using 5% raises per year as the DOE does in their estimates, they end up at just $217.I hope this answers the complaint. I can't send money I don't have, and frankly, I feel that you received a lot of value (though not as much as you were expecting.)

First, American Education Solutions is under new ownership, in fact, none of the previous owners or employees are with the company as of 12/1/2014. Nothing to do with the complaint, however, AES has not received this complaint from the Revdex.com before today. I have been communicating
with *** *** over the past few weeks directly, and refunded all money we collected since we took over the company. I am also working to recover her enrollment fee from the previous owners, but that will take some time. AES has ceased sales activities and is merely working to take care of existing clients. As for *** *** particular details, I do see a bi-weekly pay stub (attached), which, if I multiply the gross pay by 26, comes relatively close to the figure she mentions in her complaint for gross annual income. Since the IBR payment is based on income above poverty level, small amounts make a bigger difference in the resulting payment. If her annual income includes overtime, I can see why AES would have submitted that pay stub rather than annual amounts, because it is not fair to make the borrower responsible for payments at that level. The loan servicer will certainly want that, because they are paid based on how much money they collect, but it's still not fairIt is quite unfortunate that students took on this crushing debt expecting their subsequent jobs would more than pay for it, only to be hit with the "Great Recession" which often reduced the actual wages they could earn. We will continue to try to help reduce the load for America's students using programs that the Federal Government has made available for just this reason

I am not saying you will not receive a refund, but this is copied directly from the agreement you signed:"CLIENT will receive a Federal Loan Consolidation through the Department of Education. If a CLIENT is not approved for a Federal Loan Consolidation through the...

ED, the AES willreimburse 100% of the Initial Fee Payment. CLIENT also understands that a third party paymentprocessing company will be pulling the CLIENT`S Enrollment Fee Payments(s)Client Initials: **"You DID receive a Federal Loan Consolidation and you did pay $0 on your loans over the past year. You also now have three additional years of forbearance if you need them. Also included in the agreement was a "Self Certification" that you signed showing your income was $21,600.  I understand the other issues and will address those further at a later date.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. MY load, was indeed, completed by AES. However, my HUSBANDS loan, was not. We had to complete everything on our own. We repetitively emailed and called [redacted], and she never would answer her phone or return calls OR emails. We were guaranteed a money back guarantee if we were not satisfied, and we are not. Yet, we have not received $595.00 back for their LACK of services. If they are indeed a reputable business, then the customer should not have such a hard time getting into contact with them and it should not take 4-5 months to complete a loan.

Dear [redacted],
My name is [redacted], and my company just took over American Education Solutions from [redacted]. I have looked into the complaint you wrote to him about: ID [redacted]...

and can see notes andemails between the customer and AES. It appears that she received a standard letter from her loanservicer, FedLoan, which alludes to the standard repayment plan. We explained that this letter goes outautomatically prior to the Income Based repayment plan being approved, and that she was approvedsubsequently. We will continue to monitor the systems to make sure she gets the lower payment, as her husband did.We regret that in the transition, Mr. [redacted] was not able to respond timely and will forward thequestionnaire in the next few days. In the meantime, Mrs. [redacted]’s complaint is actually with FedLoan, and we are working to ensure they perform according to the CFRs in her favor.
Sincerely,

Review: This company is a scam!!! Please alert people. AES has printed in their service agreement that states "the AES will reimburse 100% of the initial fee payment" as a money back guarantee. Well it's not. Many, many hard working RNs have trusted this company and was let down and lied to!!! Please do not trust this company as a source to handle ANY financial needs!!! Many nurses was guaranteed a $0 amount payment dealing with their student loan payment plans due to a new forgiveness loan made out by our President, only if you qualify. We all did...so we thought. We did not, none of us did. They had reported wrong incomes and family sizes to make us "approved" for $0 payment. They lied to us, and to everyone involved. Now payments are increased to $200 monthly. We were lied to!!!Desired Settlement: I would like my $398 Initial Fee Payment and also the $29 a month service charge (for 10 months).

Review: My husband and I have consolidated our student loans with this business and paid them over one thousand dollars to do so. They have been extremely hard to reach in the past, but [redacted] (the consolidator) has always either emailed or called us back. We have been trying to get a hold of her (them) and it is to no avail. You call the main number and it hangs up on you. You call to speak to [redacted], she never answers, and you leave a message and she will not call back. you email, no response. This is very concerning.Desired Settlement: I want all of our money returned to us, especially as their services were offered as a "100% money back guarantee."

Review: I hired this company to help with my student loans and a loan forgiveness program. I was told I would be set up on monthly payments based on my income and family size. Each year I am to submit my w2 to verify this. I faxed all of my information to [redacted] a rep for this company. My loans are now consolidated with a different company called [redacted]. I spoke to them as it is now time to do my recertification. I found out from fed loan that AES company lied about my income and my family size before hiring them so that my payments would be $0 per month without my knowledge. Now that I have put my correct info in with the Kentucky dept of education my payments are $200 more a month [redacted] and this company lied so I thought my payments would be lower and I would hire this company ($500.00 down payment and $29.00 per month). They put that I made $40,000 per year (wrong) and I have 6 dependents(wrong) I make approx $52k per yr and have only 2 dependents. With my correct income and dependents I have now found out I do not even qualify for the loan forgiveness program so I have paid them for nothing.

After talking about this with other nurses I work with I found out there are approx 6 other ppl that this has happened to. They also falsified their documents regarding their wages and dependents without our knowledge to make it seem their payments would be lowered so we would hire them now that it's time to recert we are finding out they falsified our documents.Desired Settlement: As I stated we paid a $500 fee plus $29 per month for their services not knowing they forged our information. I would like a full refund. With my correct income and dependents I do not even qualify for the loan forgiveness plan.
