Hi ***,The Elevator that the Customer filed Compliant ( *** ) is all Original Equipment that was installed in The Customer signed an agreement with my Company To Remove an Obsolete Otis Door Operator unit and Installed a new Otis AT
Unit which included and wiring prints and integrated components, relays and wiring harness which I purchased from Otis ElevatorAmerican Elevator Services Inc was not under contract for monthly maintenance, only to install the new door Operator. American elevator Services Performed and Completed all work in compliance with State Department of Industrial Relations Elevator Division code requirements and was Inspected and passed compliance for work that was performed(Everything that was installed was tested for proper operation ) The Elevator Ran for approximately to weeks without any problems I proposed a service agreement with customer and it was never signedhowever when the customer called to repair there elevator, I made an attempt for several hours to locate short in Main Controller and even replaced Rectifier with new at no cost to the customer, I made a assertive effort to locate short for them at no costTheCustomer can't expect American Elevator Services Inc to be responsible for every part on the Elevator that fails or breaks that is original equipment from The simplest way to explain is a customer comes to car dealership for brake replacement and a month later the engine blows upthese items are unrelatedI have been working on Elevators For over years and I never want to leave a customer unhappy. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.*** *** has missed the entire point of our complaint We do not have a problem or issue with paying for his services The problem is that he left the elevator in a condition in which no other elevator company will work on it due to them not knowing where *** *** left off All we want him to do is fix the problem and we will gladly pay his fee The main problem is that he promises to come fix it then either never shows up, says he's coming back but doesn't, or simply ignores our numerous calls for service and action To reiterate we have already attempted to use other elevator services, they have all said we need to call the original technician who last worked on it We would greatly appreciate if *** *** would fix the non-operational elevator as promised, issue us an invoice, and we pay accordingly

Hi [redacted],I was informed by a very close friend that works for [redacted] Elevator Services  that their technician spent several hours locating a  grounded circuit in the Selector  which is unrelated to anything that American Elevator Services Inc was contracted to provide services for, and that the elevator is back in service as of yesterday. Selector controls the movement and location of the Elevator , Door Operator controls only the doors opening and closing completely unrelated I hope this resolves  the customers concerns   Best Regards[redacted]American Elevator Services Inc

The elevator is still NOT IN SERVICE as of today, Friday May 19, 2017.  Per our current elevator repair company [redacted] an additional $30,000 in parts and labor is needed to fix and replace parts that American Elevator Services Inc. and [redacted] had recently already replaced and attempted to fix.  Issues are NOT RESOLVED as claimed and caused by American Elevator Services Inc.
