I needed a roof replacement during the holiday season. After contacting many roofing companies who either didn’t want to do the job or were unavailable to come and look at my leaky roof, American Empire came out within 1 day. They assured me that they would take care of the leaking issue and we did a full roof replacement. Jeremy took the time to explain the entire process and pricing which was extremely fair and the envy of others I told when completed. Knowing wet weather and Christmas was coming soon they made it a priority to do the work ASAP and the Saturday before Xmas fully replaced the roof, cleaned the site like no one was ever there. Couldn’t be happier with the attention to detail, politeness of all the staff and the price and quality. Will absolutely recommend to anyone looking for roof work.

American Empire replaced roof and siding at our residence. Ulysses and Alberto completed the job in a timely fashion on October 25, 2018. These two men are a credit to the company. Their work ethnic, knowledge of the job, neatness and clean-up afterwards were above-outstanding. Their communication with us, along with their politeness was very much appreciated.
Kayla made the process as smooth as possible. She kept us well-informed with phone calls and text messages and handled all the negotiations with our insurance company, therefore, putting our mind at ease. Kayla spent time with us helping with roofing and siding colors. We are very pleased with the results.
Jess and Erika were on the job communicating with the workers and making sure we had all the materials to complete the job.

AEGC Roofing did an excellent job. They were there when they promised, worked morning until night to get the job done, and cleaned up everything when they were done. They answered all my concerns and gave me some suggestions to make things work out better and Marcos checked with me along the way to make sure everything was going OK. GOOD JOB!

We had hail damage to our roof and were not sure what to do. *** knocked on the door and the rest is history! From the inspection, to executing completion of the extensive paperwork, finalizing the insurance claim and the actual work itself- amazing does not even begin to cover it! We contacted *** in the office several times regarding insurance concerns and each time, she responded to our questions and concerns patiently and thoroughly. *** managed the purchase of supplies and also addressed additional questions we had and kept everyone on schedule after *** and *** worked to finalize scheduling and execution of the task- daunting to say the least. The day came to replace the roof and the hard-working crew did so neatly, completely and professionally under the careful supervision of ***. They painstakingly removed the old shingles after draping the house for protection and cleaned up every piece of roofing shingle and nails, all with smiles!

American Empire General Contracting is all around a great business. 100% legit and professional is the least of the great things I can say about these guys. From start to finish they were always there for us when we had even a small little question. Marcos did a wonderful job on the roof. His wonderful workmanship totally shows threw out the roof he put on. He has a great eye for detail and that is really important in this type of work. Especially if they want there customers to be happy. I can say we are very happy with the work done at my house. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a roof or anything to do with a roof... Excellent and professional emeraldis contractors. They replaced some of hail damaged roof, helped us understand the process, and finished up quick and clean. Haven't had any issues yet!

I am wring this review for American Empire Contracting Company. Rene and Marcos were very easy to deal with. They explained the entire process and answered any questions I had as the process unfolded. Their crew was very professional and a pleasure to work with. They literally had the roof replaced in 2 days. In addition, they were very conscientious and cleaned up after themselves. I had to call Rene back to adjust a rain gutter and he was very punctual and always respectful. I would highly recommend this company.

American Empire General Contracting recently replaced my roof on my house and my garage. The roofs were damaged due to a Tornado and Hail event that happened in February of 2017 in Northeastern Pensylvania. I received a recommendation from a friend to use AEGC to inspect my roof for damage and replace if necessary. Marcos was my representative and he did a fanatastic job handling all of the details from inspecting my home for damage, contacting my Homeowners Insurance to begin the claim process, taking pictures to prepare for the Insurance Adjuster, meeting the Adjustor at my home and working with the adjustor to complete the claims process. He also followed up on any questions that I had with me and with my Insurance Company. He and Rene completed all of the Paperwork and explained the whole process in detail. They were very helpful, friendly and professional throughout the entire process, easy to contact and prompt in getting back to me when I had questions or issues.
The Construction crew that did the replacement were excellent and did quality work on the roofing job. They were very concerned about covering all of the plants and bushes that could possibly be damaged in the roofing process and protected everything. Nothing was damaged in my yard, and all debris was picked up including any nails that flew around from the tearin off of the old roofing materials. They completed the job promptly and cleaned the whole area so that it was no different after the job was completed. Pictures were taken for submission to my Insurance Company to show that the job was completed to their satisfaction. Job was done quickly and thoroughly.
When the job was completed Rene completed the paperwork to get the final payment from the insurance and made sure everything was covered.
Whenever I needed any information about my Job status or any Insurance Claim, Kayla was there to help explain anything that I didn't understand. She did a great job handling my claim as well, very helpful.
I have recommended AEGC to several friends and family members and they aslo had work done and were very satisfied with to work and service.
In closing I would recommend using this group for any construction work that you would need done and have confidence that they would satisfy your every need.
Special thanks to Marcos for coming into my home and making me feel comfortable that the work would be done to meet my expectations. All of the reps for the company made me feel like I was a friend and not just a customer.

Rating would be zero. American Empire General Contracting re-opened a home owners insurance claim on our house in the summer of 2016. They began taking our roof apart. They cobbed a few pieces of slate that did not fit back on. They then claimed our entire roof needed all the backing re-placed. We started out with one leak over the south west bedroom. They left tar paper on the roof and left it undone for the entire winter. They left nails, cigarette butts and debris all over the yard. They left the materials in our driveway and blocking out walk way. We were forced to move and store the materials for the winter. In the winter of 2017, a brand new leak appeared where they had started removing slate and removed the ridge cap. It was in the north west bedroom. It was leaking right through the ceiling. They came and slapped some tar paper over it. They claimed to be arguing with the insurance company for more money. Finally in the summer of 2017 we had a meeting in our yard. Roof still not done. Meeting was with home owner, renters (me), insurance adjuster, Ryan H and a city inspector. It was determined that the backing did not need to be replace and was, "up to code." They claimed it was not, "up to code." They soon learned that is for new construction or all of Rutland at large would not be, "up to code." Ryan H from American Empire General Contracting referred to his first crew as, "monkies." Finally in July of 2017, they had another crew from NJ do the job. They proceeded to nap on my front lawn and drink beer while working. A few weeks after the job, the roof was leaking again in the north west bedroom. Rene P from American Empire General Contracting showed up and used cocking to "fix" it. In October 2017 after the tree lost it's leaves, water was leaking right through the north west bedroom onto the floor. A bucket of water was overflowing in the attic. Leaks were discovered all over the North end of the house where it never had leaked until they started messing with it. We had someone else come look at it. They said the ridge cap was put on wrong and so wasn't the slate. American Empire General Contracting said they would pay the $5000 we were quoted to fix their destruction. American Empire General Contracting had been paid $12000 by the insurance company for this mess. To this date 12/18/17, they are not paying. Today they are out in my front yard with a tarp they can't even figure out how to put on. They are trying to blame the insurance company for what they totally destroyed.

We had hail damage to our roof. We were very pleased with the service that was provided to us. Marcos was extremely professional and was very helpful to us. The project was completed and we were pleased with it. Cleanup was completed. The whole roof project was completed in one day. Job well done.

We needed to have our roof replaced do to hail damage. Marcos and Rene were fantastic with explaining the process and making sure the work and cleanup where completed as promised. Great crew to work with. And Kayla was invaluable in helping with all the paperwork with the insurance company and mortgage company. I have recommended them to family and friends.
