hope in this particular situation was to settle this incident with Mr*** months agoI have not heard from him for months since our original agreement in FebruaryI had made arrangements with him to realign the door and to touch up the paint of the damage we created, at our body shop with no cost to himI had not heard back from him until earlier this week when he contacted me and asked for a monetary amount of $2000.00, which exceeded the actual value of the damageIt was at this time when we were disagreeing on the solution that I requested for him to supply me with different legitimate estimates, only ofthe damage that was created by my driver. My company did tow Mr***'s car on January 26, 2017, however Mr*** did fail to mention that he was not present when this incident occurredHis mother was there and she herself said there really was not much damage at all especially since there was a very minimal amount of space where the car was to be placedAs a matter of fact we were going to drop the car on the drive way close to the street, because of the space restraints, but did as his mother requested and placed it further back in the driveway where there actually was not enough room for the door to have been opened and pushed all the way back as Mr*** has statedAs seen in the pictures that I have included in this letter, it should be noted that the car had not been registered or inspected since September and had been sitting in an open yard for years since the last registrationThe following week, in early February 2017, I went out to access the car and again Mr*** was not presentHis best friend and his mother were there and his friend stated that the damage was very minorIt was at this time that I made an agreement on the phone with Mr*** to repair the door alignment and touch up paintThis was the last correspondence I had with him until earlier this week.Currently *** Wrecker Service has been in business for over years and we tow up to 25,cars annuallyYes we have had incidents, but we pride ourselves in taking care of them expediently and to our customers satisfaction as can be shown by our record with your companyWhen determining value to the damage we take various variables into consideration, such as the state of the vehicle, the year, the actual blue book value plus parts and laborLike any claim for damage we take all these factors into account to get a realistic value of the actual damage we causedThese days insurance comes at a premium price so we do not take filing claims lightlyWhat we do take into consideration is if the damage exceeds our insurance deductible which is $1000.00, Mr***'s damage clearly did not reach that valueI have requested for him to provide me with at least estimates to validate his claimEven if an insurance company was working with him they would require such estimates themselvesI will even hire a legitimate adjuster if he wishesI will welcome a solution and will honor the cost of the alignment and touch up paint of the door which is the only damage that was created by my service. [redacted] Wrecker Service [redacted]Tuesday July 1 9, 2017Revdex.com Corporate OffceDispute Resolution Specialist Revdex.com1805 Rutherford Lane Ste. 100Austin, Texas 78754Dear [redacted],Thank you for the opportunity to address this matter. Our...

hope in this particular situation was to settle this incident with Mr. [redacted] 6 months ago. I have not heard from him for 5 months since our original agreement in February. I had made arrangements with him to realign the door and to touch up the paint of the damage we created, at our body shop with no cost to him. I had not heard back from him until earlier this week when he contacted me and asked for a monetary amount of $2000.00, which exceeded the actual value of the damage. It was at this time when we were disagreeing on the solution that I requested for him to supply me with 2 different legitimate estimates, only ofthe damage that was created by my driver. My company did tow Mr. [redacted]'s car on January 26, 2017, however Mr. [redacted] did fail to mention that he was not present when this incident occurred. His mother was there and she herself said there really was not much damage at all especially since there was a very minimal amount of space where the car was to be placed. As a matter of fact we were going to drop the car on the drive way close to the street, because of the space restraints, but did as his mother requested and placed it further back in the driveway where there actually was not enough room for the door to have been opened and pushed all the way back as Mr. [redacted] has stated. As seen in the pictures that I have included in this letter, it should be noted that the car had not been registered or inspected since September 2001 and had been sitting in an open yard for 16 years since the last registration. The following week, in early February 2017, I went out to access the car and again Mr. [redacted] was not present. His best friend and his mother were there and his friend stated that the damage was very minor. It was at this time that I made an agreement on the phone with Mr. [redacted] to repair the door alignment and touch up paint. This was the last correspondence I had with him until earlier this week.Currently [redacted] Wrecker Service has been in business for over 35 years and we tow up to 25,000 cars annually. Yes we have had incidents, but we pride ourselves in taking care of them expediently and to our customers satisfaction as can be shown by our record with your company. When determining value to the damage we take various variables into consideration, such as the state of the vehicle, the year, the actual blue book value plus parts and labor. Like any claim for damage we take all these factors into account to get a realistic value of the actual damage we caused. These days insurance comes at a premium price so we do not take filing claims lightly. What we do take into consideration is if the damage exceeds our insurance deductible which is $1000.00, Mr. [redacted]'s damage clearly did not reach that value. I have requested for him to provide me with at least 2 estimates to validate his claim. Even if an insurance company was working with him they would require such estimates themselves. I will even hire a legitimate adjuster if he wishes. I will welcome a solution and will honor the cost of the alignment and touch up paint of the door which is the only damage that was created by my service. Sincerely,[redacted]Cell Number [redacted]
