American Explorer Motorcoach

On March 18, 2014 I contracted with American Explorer Motorcoach to provide 3- 55 passenger busses to transport our 156 wedding guests on May 2, 2014 from [redacted] at 3:30 pm to [redacted] and then return to the Talking Stick at 10:30 pm. I have a signed contract that I faxed to them listing all these details.I have a confirmation from that fax that it was successfully sent to them on that date. About 10 days prior to the wedding I contacted all of my vendors to confirm that we all were on the same page for the wedding. When I got to American Motorcoach I was totally shocked to find out that they had not "confirmed" my reservation and therefore now had zero busses available for my guests. They said they had no idea how that had happened but now had nothing to offer us. To say the least I was NOT happy and really let them have it. I told them this was not MY problem but THEIR problem to resolve this. All of our guests had been told both on the save-the-date and the invitations that transportation would be provided to and from all venues. American Explorer Motor coach said they would "do their best" to find us something. It was a huge problem because this is prom season and Cinco De Mayo weekend so all busses in the area were already booked by now. I was just furious and totally stressed out about what to do. I gave them most of that day to call me back and come up with some solution. They not only came up with nothing for us they also never called me back. I initially spoke with a woman named ** and then to possibly the owner or at least the manager named [redacted]. They were both NO help at all.
After waiting one day for them to resolve this huge dilemma, we could wait no longer. Fortunately the groom was available those days to make what seemed like a million phone calls to every bus company in the Phoenix, Tuscon, Prescott, Flagstaff area and was FINALLY able after two days to piece together Three busses for the wedding..no thanks to American Explorer Motorcoach.
And as if this was not bad enough, when I did talk to them early on I asked them...oh by the way...we ALSO have a signed contract with you for two busses for the rehearsal dinner on May 1, 2014 to take these same guests from Talking Stick to Greasewood Flat and return...you have that reservation, correct?? AND it was under a totally different name. The answer incredibly was...NO they didn't have that reservation either and no busses available for that night either. I just couldn't believe it. Not only had they messed up ONE reservation they had messed up TWO reservations. I can only imagine what would have happened if I had not called and touched base with them only days before the wedding.
I would not EVER recommend this company to anyone. I told them that day that if they didn't get this resolved successfully that I would contact the Revdex.com and that is exactly what I am doing.

Over a 4 week period our youth sports organization hired American Explorer Motorcoach to transport players, coaches and families back and forth to California twice. The owner, managers and drivers were all great to work with, accomodating and arrived early to every scheduled pick-up time. Everyone involved was knowledgable and had great suggestions for hotels, restaurants and attractions.

We would HIGHLY recommend America Explorer Motorcoach to anyone looking for large group transportation!
