Review: I placed an order for a pair of eyeglasses on a Saturday. I was told the order would not be sent in until Monday in case I changed my mind. On Monday, I called to advise them of a few concerns that I had and I advised them that I wanted to cancel the order. I stopped payment on my check to them. AFTER they were notified of my cancellation, THEY STILL PROCEEDED TO TRY TO CASH MY CHECK, then I receive a phone call from them advising me that they have incurred fees and I will have to pay them re-stocking fees. THE ORDER NEVER WENT THROUGH AND I NEVER RECEIVED A PRODUCT. They have NOTHING in writing from me, and I never even received so much as a receipt from them. I know this order never went through, I know too many people who have dealt with these people and they waited well into a month for their glasses, so you can't tell me they started cutting the lenses the same day the order ALLEGEDLY went through. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!!Desired Settlement: STOP TRYING TO BILL ME FOR THEIR ALLEGED RE-STOCKING FEES WHICH I KNOW WERE NEVER INCURRED TO BEGIN WITH.

Here is the facts...Myself, My Manager [redacted] and other staff member had personally dealt with her. She came to our store on Friday, March 8th, ordered and paid deposit with check..She came back in on Sat. March 9th to do an lens upgrade and paid the difference in another check as well. She told us she would call us monday to confirm the order since our order would be placed monday...She in fact called several times to manager [redacted] ( she did have a couple in insurance questions. She called her again for 3rd time on that monday to confirm the order which was then placed that day. She called in fact on Tuesday ( after the job was started monday) to cancel...She was told by [redacted] that the job was started and to cancel there would be a cancelation charge ( We have sign posted at front regarding our custom orders..) I personally worked with her on that previous Sat. so I know what she wanted at that time. Her primary insurance was [redacted] and she knew we didn't take it but wanted that frame and we used her [redacted] discount which I have the computerized sheet from [redacted] for ( She denies having such a discount) AFter she was very rude with [redacted] and stated she would not be paying any charges and she eluded to [redacted] that she was stopping her checks. Her stop payment must have been done monday for her bank was [redacted] and mine is [redacted]. and my stop payment notices were dated 3/11 on both checks. She didn't even tell us to cancel order till Tuesday...the 12th. Bottom line....She is rude, and is slamming our business and staff. I'm the new owner since Oct. 2012...I previously ran the office for 3 years. 2008-2011. To slam our banking, our frames,and say we're scammers is ignorant.. ....Our deposits are done by drop box daily so for her to insinuate that we ran to the bank to deposit her checks is also silly. I sent her my response and told her basically forget the charges...I'm taking the higher road....She costs us a lab bill for her started job and $30.00 in return check fees. 99% of our patients and customers are absolutely wonderfulllll but once in a while you get a disappointment like her.....She can shop someone else....and I would hope that this is not going to be reflected on a report thru you...Please let me know where this stands.
