American Factory Blinds

We found a business card at our house front door for window blinds services. Since we had just moved to our new house and would like to order new blinds we contacted American Factory Blinds at the number on the card, 305.303.1872, and spoke to ***. Mr. came to our house and provided an estimate and sold himself and the products very well, so we hired his services. Mr. came to install the blinds on Monday, December 28, 2018, they were installed wrinkled, dirty, and they hung displaying a wave, we have pictures of the installed blinds. We asked him to remove them but he told us the company would be closed until January 2, 2019. After we saw his finished product, we discovered that Mr. never disclosed that these blinds utilize an old roller blind system. He was justifying the issues with the blinds because of the size of the windows, as if the defects were okay. If the blinds were not appropriate for the size of the windows, he shouldn't have sold it to us. Mr. deceived us not once, but many times, first by selling his product as the one or better than the one we saw at Home Depot, Bali Zebra blinds, also selling us blackout shades that were regular shades, they did not block the light at all. Mr. also told us that he had been in business for over 10 years, but after all this incident we researched the corporation, it looks as if it only has a few years. We thought we we were dealing with a professional company with experience in the field. These are costly blinds and we are not satisfied with the workmanship nor the professionalism of Mr.. This situation has created us unnecessary stress to our lives. Mr. returned to our house on January 2, 2019, and was trying to convince us that the blinds were okay, he didn't want to acknowledge what was evident, after over an hour of a stressful conversation Mr. removed the blinds. We expressed to him our desire to end our business relationship and refund our $1,200.00 deposit.
