I was referred to American fence and gate by a contractor who does repairs, not a complete fence replacement He gave them a good recommendation I have since advised him to not refer this company again, ever I don't know if AF&G is overwhelmed with business, or they simply do not want to do a smaller job I contacted them TIMES for a quote on a fence replacement, with no follow through We have an existing fence which is falling apart and rotting, so I needed a quote for a new fence The first time I called, I left a VM for Michelle (whom I was referred) I never got a call back The next call, I spoke with her, gave her my info and she advised that someone would be out to measure; never happened The 3rd call, I spoke with Michelle again She stated that she was driving but would return my call when she got to the office Never happened, again The 4th call I spoke with Eunice, the owner She advised the same, someone would be out for a quote weeks went by and still, no one had been to my house Called the 5th time and spoke with Eunice again She admitted that she had lost my info but would send her husband out for a quote I have yet for anyone from this company to provide me a quote I have finally given up on this business Clearly, they do not care about customer service If they can't even follow through on a quote, I can't imagine how horrible they would be if I hired them for a job!!! That will definitely not be happening! Very unprofessional and disappointing

I had called several fence companies and couldn't get a returned phone callContacted this company and was greeted by ***She is amazing and efficientFollowed through from beginning to endCan't say enough about the efficiency in which my small order was expeditedThey had to order an new gate for me to be manufactured and installed and turn around time was less than a weekI was kept in the loop during the whole process and was reassured that things were moving alongHow refreshing....even though I had a small order, I was treated like a seriously important customerThat meant a lotWhoever *** works for, they should pay her a lot...because her customer service is above and beyond!!

The customer service was outstandingThey went above and beyond for me and even spent time talking directly with my neighbors to make sure that they were comfortable with everything and also provided supporting documentation for me to provide to my home owners association to help gain the approval When it came time to perform the installation, the crew that was sent was completely respectful and hard working Finally, in the effort of due diligence, I did reach out to several other companies for competitive pricing based on my specific requirements and the other companies were between $1,- $1,more than the estimates provided by American Fence and GateI would strongly recommend American Fence and Gate to anyone looking to install a new fence

I chose American Fence & Gate because my automatic gate needed service and because I wanted a local company. The owner Milton Thompson responded to my request for service by arriving on a Saturday and performing the initial work himself. I appreciated the quick response on a weekend. After solving one problem he sent a reliable technician to resolve a more complicated electrical troubleshoot. The technician solved the problem in one visit and restored service to a keypad on my porch that hadn't worked for years. Such prompt, efficient and friendly service is the mark of a truly reliable repair company and I couldn't recommend Milton and his crew more strongly.

An overall a great experience. Michelle was fantastic to work with on the design and layout. Before construction started, I kept changing the layout and she was very flexible and a great person to bounce ideas off of. She seemed truly excited about the project .
The builder, Tacho, showed great attention to detail and seemed to sincerely want it to turnout as good as I did. After completing the fence he approached me with the suggestion of adding a trim piece. I was hesitant but he showed me what he wanted to do and I gave the OK. And I'm so glad that we did because it really gave it a refined/finished look.
I had only one minor criticism and within 48 hours American fence have it corrected and looking great. I would definitely do business with them again, but especially if Michelle and Tacho were involved.
