I received an email from my school district about a great program to help teachers get into a house It is called [redacted] and it’s only in Riverside County I visited the website and sent in a request for more informationI received a call from [redacted] and he gave me an over view of the program I talked with my wife and re-emailed Mr [redacted] about us only having to come up with the 5% down payment and the [redacted] credit will cover the rest up to $20, I have emails with Mr [redacted] stating this tooMy wife thought it was too good to be true, so I arranged for the three of us to meet in his Temecula office The meeting went well, but Mr [redacted] now started backtracking on what the credit could be used for in the closing costs of the loanHowever, we gave him our information on good faith to see how the loan estimate documents would come backThey came back with improper zip codes, expense amounts, and most of all not a single mention of the [redacted] disco

We received a pre approval offer in the mail about a cash out refinance on our home so we reached out to them to get the specifics We was assigned a loan officer and completed all necessary paperwork and was told over and over again we were good to go They made us pay $for an appraisal then all of a sudden our loan officer stopped calling us back so I reached out the her manager and was told that she had a family emergency and they had no idea when she was coming back The manager so called took over our file only to find out that they can not do our loan due to a late paymentHe told me that we should be good to go after our months had past and all payments were on time We are now at months and now all of a sudden it has to be months I believe they took our $and knew they could not refinance our house They knew about the late payment before we ordered an appraisalThis is bad bad bad business

If I can oy give a negative star I wouldThis is the worst lender I've ever worked with courtesy of its senior loan officer Charles A [redacted] who never answered emails or calls or texts to give us an update on our loanBut he was fast getting our money for an appraisal and after that never communicated back as to what is happening to our loanThe company should just get rid of him as he is further tarnishing the reputation of the companyJust walk away from them if you want to spare yourself of the disappointments

Alex [redacted] and his staff are the best! I can not say enough great things about AlexHe has helped me time and time and again and always has my best interest at heartI highly recommend Alex and the American Financial Network
