American Financing has been in constant contact with Mr [redacted] since we became aware of the issueAmerican Financing did issue the final payout wire on time, but due to some delays out of our control it did arrive lateBecause American Financing wants to ensure we have happy borrowers we are in the process of working with the Mugleston's previous lender to get the day late removed Complaint Response Date bumped because: Data Base Migration

We have been corresponding with Ms*** The gift cards were mailed out last evening We are in the process of requesting credit pull removal from agencies We will continue to communicate with Ms [redacted] throughout the process

I did receive a call from American Financing and they agreed to refund our earnest moneyWhich was the right thing to doNever the less - my spouse was in the same type of field work from his previous jobs and the loan officer rep said it wouldn't be a problemLong and behold it obviously wasWith that being said; the loan officer rep should have stated that at the very beginning not at the very end to receive a call while we are doing our Initial walk through that they can't do the loanI would still not recommend this company to anyone

First please know the call that you received asking for a deposit, that was not from American Financing We NEVER ask for any upfront monies for anything, that has always been our process There is another company by the name of American Finance that is out of CA Second, we have looked everywhere for the originals, as we no longer keep hard copies of any personal documents, we scan and either send the documents back to the customer or shred them In turn, we believe that the documents must have been shredded, and we apologize any trouble this has caused We have made copies of all documents we scanned in and those are coming to you overnight - so you will have the documents - just not the originalsFor your troubles we would like to offer you a $gift card as an apology

I know there is some delay in the receipt of these responses on both the customer and business side and in turn the offer was not complete when it was initially sent The customer is now working directly with Flagstar and has all of the needed information from American Financing to get the late removed from their creditIn addition we have given the [redacted] $for their troubles We hope this resolves this complaint

I would be willing to speak with herI am available after 5pmM-FIn addition, simce filing for bankruptcy two years ago I have been overly protective of who I allow to run credit checks on meHaving a ten minute phone conversation with their rep I never consented to him running my creditHe made me belive that I was only making an appointment to speak with someone who I could choose to move forward with.

American Financing has been in contact with Ms*** and we are going to pay for the initial appraisal feeIn addition, we are going to have a second appraisal done to see if we can get the value of the home where they think it should be,
with hopes that we will then be able to do this loanAmerican Financing hopes we have done all we can to make this right for the ***'

American Financing would first like to apologize for lack of communication We feel that if we had done a much better job and following up with Ms*** this complaint may have not happened But in addition to this we also want to say appraisers do not work for American Financing and
we have no control over when they schedule appraisals or complete the appraisal paperwork The American Financing team did everything within their power to get this appraisal completed Appraisers and Lenders are kept as separate entities to protect the borrowers, which is why American Financing cannot dictate anything to an appraiserWe sent the job to one appraiser who said he was going to complete and then would not respond to any communications We then assigned to another appraiser and then the initial appraiser came back around saying he had already completed the inspection In turn, we moved the job back to him and he went dark on us again We have found an appraiser who will be able to complete this job But again, if the loan officer had communicated all of this along the way to Ms*** things would have gone much more smoothly We have in turn, paid a rush fee to have a new appraiser complete this job and it is scheduled for September 1st

This complaint is completely unfoundedThe only documentation we received from Mr*** was one page of his and taxes We asked repeatedly for all of the required documentation needed to apply for a loan but was never supplied with those documents which is why we had to turn down
the loan The documents received were previously mailed back to him, here is the UPS tracking number for that original package 1Z98X6R*** But today we are going to email a copy of those to him right now And in addition we will print and mail hard copies to him again

UpdateI got a package in that are copies of most of my stuff, unfortunately not the 50+ pages per year that I sent from my accountant. They said something about a gift card, I didn't receive it in the packageNo problem because it wasn't about money just my original 50+ pagesHowever I feel at least now they made an effort, just hope they discipline the ones that left me hanging that whole timeI'd like to thank the guy that did try and returned the stuff he did have on file but I didn't get his name.

Ms*** submitted a negative Revdex.com review yesterday and I was in receipt of that I should have responded to her yesterday but I wanted to have some answers for her prior to doing so, as we have been working on this since the receipt of the review *** * was working with Ms*** to
get her credit score up to the point where we could complete the refinance for her He really was doing everything he could to help Ms*** One of the things we do to help this along is a "rescore" Aaron believed this was a soft pull and would not show up as a hard inquiry He was incorrect, and has been informed that these are hard inquiries and do show on credit reports Our VP contacted our credit company yesterday and we are in the process of completing all of the needed paperwork to attempt to get the last inquiry removed from Ms***'s credit report This last hard pull (the rescore), is the only one that Ms*** was not aware ofPlease know American Financing and Aaron really wanted to complete this loan for Ms***, there were extenuating factors that prevented us from doing so

A Sales Manager from American Financing reached out to Ms***, and apologized for the lack on communication from her team And the loan is again moving forward as adjustments were made to make it possible Our hope is that this complaint from Ms*** is now resolved and
things are moving smoothly If they are not I would like her to have all of my personal contact information and I will help with any issues *** ***, ***.***@americanfinancing.net, ###-###-#### direct

This was a miscommunication on our part, as no point did we want Mr*** to be responsible for this fee We will be cutting a check today for $for Mr*** to pick up

We apologize for the delay in completing the refinance for Mr***, but this is truly beyond the control of American Financing. Mr*** decided he wanted to refinance into a year loan, he was advised this was going to be more difficult than a year based on his situation.
We have communicated all of this to Mr*** along the way and we have documentation of this communication, so there was no lack of communication on the part of American Financing. We also have made Mr*** aware (today) that there is going to be additional documentation needed to complete this loan. In turn, we are doing everything we can to complete this refinance for Mr*** in a timely manner, but there are certain guidelines and regulations we must follow to be able to do so

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:i did not give permission for anyone to run my crediti did supply my social security number but never agreed to having my credit run! *** said he is just taking information and someone else was going to get back to meand I never said I was going to refuse to speak with the vpi was at work and told her it was a bad time for me to talk and she should call me back.
