It is unfortunate that I have to write to your organization under these circumstances but I feel it necessary to voice my opinion on the encounters my staff and I have had with the person complainingIt is important to me that I defend

I personally signed the person up that afternoon after I had given him a tour of the facilityI can assure you that I went over all of the guidelines of the membershipThe person was informed that it would be a 12-month agreement and that after the first year he could cancel at any time with a day cancellation noticeThe person also signed the bottom of the agreement stating that he had read over all of the terms of the agreement and initialed the section that states he agrees to the terms of the "12-month membership." The person asked for a discount on the $activation feeThis is normally a set price that we do not waive or vary unless we are running a special but I gave the person $off to bring it down to $I also extended two free months before his dues were to start
I know the person also said that he was not given a copy of the contract and that cannot be trueThe original contracts that we keep for our records are attached to a carbon copy that we give to the new member on the day that they joinOur staff is also trained to walk through each section of the agreement with the member so that they are aware of the terms they are agreeing to by signing
When the person addressed his frustrations, my staff explained all of the above and offered to mail him a copy of the contract he signedThe person declined the offer, but I would be happy to send Revdex.com a copy to prove that we fulfilled our end of the membership agreement
