I do not believe that the company strives to comply with Do Not Call requirements because I have received several calls, even after I informed them that I am on the list.  I have also seen similar complaints posted on the internet.  The company's management should comply with the Do Not Call law, instead of just training its telemarketers on how to respond to people who complain about being illegally called.

We.just had a presentation done in our home by your representative Mark A[redacted] he was very professional and did not push us any way to buy your products! Which we appreciated! first off we was told american frozen foods was Revdex.com accredited by salesman. THEY ARE NOT. we figured we paid approximately 18 dollars a pound for the roadkill we received. hamburg was almost pure white and was like eating a hockey puck. steak varied in color from normal red to brown and some freezer burnt. the vegetables were just plain awful. the vacuum packaging did not hold for long on most of the products. did send some stuff back to exchange but got more garbage to replace it. folk,s go to your local meat market. you get alot more for your money and im sure it will be much better than the roadkill we received from american frozen foods. WARNING DO NOT BUY HERE IT IS POOR QUALITY FOOD AT A VERY HIGH PRICE.

Accordingly, we have spoken to [redacted], and agreed on a plan to prepare replacements for the items that were poorly packaged or otherwise not satisfactory. I have been a customer of American Frozen Foods for over 28 years and am totally satisfied with this company. This company stands by its products. Our freezer died after 26 years and all the food in it spoiled a couple of days before Thanksgiving. The freezer and all the food was replaced no questions asked the day before Thanksgiving. The quality of the products are better than anything you can get at your local grocery store.

I have been a customer for over 10 years.. and the food is GREAT! The freezer was expensive but the discount they gave me off the food paid for it 5x over!
We love the convenience, the salesman is wonderful, and I love the fact that we are eating all natural, healthy products!

This company is criminal. We simply asked how much we were paying per item and the couldn't tell us because "it depends on how much food you buy". It was totally BS. Also, they sold us a grill that couldn't get replacement parts and as far as the lifetime warranty, we had to almost wait 6 months to get a repair guy out here. Run as far away from this company as possible - they are liars and conartists

Review: When American Frozen Foods came to us and talked us into buying their products, they informed us their food was the top of the line and highest quality. The food delivered was of lesser quality than offered at the local grocery store and considerably more expensive. The steaks were full of grisle and the hamburger had white chunks in it that were not chewable. The whole chickens were inferior in size and insufficient to feed a family of 4. The quantity of all the food received was considerably less for the amount of money spent than if that same amount had been spent locally. Additionally, the freezer unit that they sold us for $3k is not of the quality they told us it would be. They told us it was a frost free unit and would keep all the food in it at the perfect temperature. Within a month of getting the freezer it is iced over and the food is covered in frost. Finally, when they called us to renew and order more food, my wife informed them we were not happy with the food and would not be using them again. The customer service representative became quite rude on the phone and hung up on my wife.Desired Settlement: We have already paid off the food and disposed of the inedible food.We would like them to take the freezer back and free us of the debt for this unit.

Review: HAVE ASKED THIS COMPANY SEVERAL TIMES TO STOP CALLING. MY PHONE NUMBER IS ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST. I HAVE INFORMED THEM OF THIS, HAVE TOLD THEM I AM NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT THEY'RE SELLING AND NOT TO CALL ME AGAIN. THEY HAVE IGNORED MY REQUESTS AND CONTINUE TO CALL ME. ANY COMPANY THAT IGNORES A FEDERAL LAW IS NOT ONE I CARE TO DO BUSINESS WITH AND AT THIS POINT I AM READY TO GO TO MY LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT AND FILE PHONE HARASSMENT CHARGES.I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE FTC AS WELL FOR VIOLATION OF THE DO NOT CALL LIST.Desired Settlement: DON'T EVER CALL ME AGAIN.

Review: Chris R[redacted] Sales Representative never fully disclosed that we where going to be paying 17.99% apr interest charges on the freezer that we purchased. I would have never agreed to this if it was fully disclosed.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive $80.38 that I paid in interested charges and a additional $121.09 which totals $201.47. This is 3% of the purchase price of the freezer $4,036.42 since I just paid off this loan using my home equity line of credit. I would like this to be sent to me in a refund check and not a credit on our next purchase.

Review: All of the meat is awful, they will only exchange meat for other meat. We want to return it, and not be charged the remaining 5 payments.

They say the contract clearly states they will exchange for other products only. Everything we have tried is of poor quality, and we don't want to exchange it for more poor quality meat. They use false advertising stating that their meat is equal to a butcher shop. The company that financed the meat plan for 6 months is trying to force us to pay the remaining 5 months of payments. They are advising us that they will report us to the 3 credit bureaus and hurt our credit. We have attempted to reason with American Frozen Foods as well as [redacted]. who we made the first %223.23 payment to. We want to return the unused meat and pay for what we have used (if it is more than the initial payment of %$223.33) and be done with this experience. [redacted] at American Frozen Foods has told my husband and I on a few occasions that the contract we signed clearly states that they will exchange only. It says satisfaction is guaranteed and we are not satisfied. We feel that the contract we signed ordering quality meat - should be null and void. It IS NOT quality meat.Desired Settlement: We want to return the meat and only be responsible to pay for exactly what we have used. We will gladly pay [redacted]. for what we have used - but no more. We want to return the meat. When [redacted] called the company rep. originally, [redacted], he said to write down what we had left and we would contact the company and fax in the list advising them that we wanted to return the balance of the meat. After the inventory list was made, he said he couldn't and didn't really deal with the corporate headquarters. It is false advertising - the meat is not the quality that they promise it to be.

"If any open or partly used package of food provided by us does not in any way meet with your complete satisfaction, we will replace the item, or exchange it for another, at your option. Replacements and exchanges will be done on an equivalent value basis."

We have offered to exchange any and all items the customer is not happy with. We are willing to be very flexible, as always, to try to work out a mutually agreeable solution to the problem.

I have left a message (Wednesday, 8/28) on the customer's home answering machine, and I am awaiting a return phone call from them.

We have spoken to them on 2 occasions since filing our Complaint with the Revdex.com. The company has contacted us and they are sending us a sample pack of meat that we should be receiving today. We have agreed to try the products to see if we like them any better than the initial shipment. We are supposed to get back to them to let them know if we want to exchange what we have and continue making payments, or return our unused portion and owe nothing further. We are working together, but this matter has not been resolved and should not be closed.

Good food but they absolutely screw you on the price that you have to pay for their freezers. Their finance company makes a fortune on interest payments.
INSIST THAT YOU DO NOT NEED A FREEZER AND THEIR SALESPEOPLE WILL WALK OUT OF YOUR HOUSE.

Review: I have been a customer for a few years and have been buying pre packed frozen meat from them. every time there is a re-order they are pushing knives from a third party. They say that if you buy these quality knives they will give you a discount on the meat. The knives were sold to me as stainless steel knives. However they are all rusty. I called and complained to American frozen foods and they had a rep in the area look at them. ( [redacted]). [redacted] said he has never seen that before. American frozen foods said to call the company that made the knives. I did call but they only wanted to replace one knife and that I bought them thru American frozen foods and need to call them. I talked to [redacted] and he said well I can give you 300.00 off each off your next 3 orders. That would be about 2 years to get the money back. I did pay more then that for the knives to begin with. American frozen foods is pushing these poor quality knives on consumers and then don't want to help with the problem. It has been over a year since [redacted] came out and inspected the rusty knives.Desired Settlement: I feel I should receive a credit for this problem going un resolved and the knives should be all replaced with another set from a different batch and stainless steel since the first set is stainless steel that rusts if that makes any sense.

Since I received the Revdex.com complaint, I have been in touch with the customer, and I will work to resolve the complaint with the customer, and I'll keep you updated.

I spoke to Mr. [redacted] Nov 12th, and followed up with an e-mail addressed to him, offering the following as remedies to his complaint: 1) I will send him a different set of professional quality, stainless steel cutlery, manufactured by [redacted], to replace the [redacted] cutlery Mr. [redacted] found to be rusting, and, 2) In consideration of the inconvenience caused by the rusting cookware, I will give an increase in their lifetime food discount to the maximum, which is 40%. I would need to have the [redacted] cutlery returned to us. I am awaiting Mr and Mrs [redacted]'s response. Thank you, [redacted] American Frozen Foods

Review: I keep getting unwanted calls from people claiming to be from American Foods in [redacted]. They also claim they are affiliated with American Foods in [redacted], **. They continue to call even though my number is on the do-not-call list. Two different callers told me that I need to renew my number on the do-not-call list, otherwise they can continue to call me.Desired Settlement: I would like the company that is calling me to comply with the do-not-call laws.
