First -- The warranty is handled thru the store that purchased the furniture from usSecond -- We do not sell to ** ***. They must have purchased the furniture from a distributor. They would need to call the people they purchased the furniture from and go from there

My daughter purchased an American Furniture Manufacturing sofa & love seat on 10/8/from *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** ***When you sit on one side of the loveseat it sinks way downNot sure whether it is the cushion, spring, or frame.When we spoke with the owner, he stated there was nothing he could do, but give $for another cushionNeedless to say there is no place to get the type of cushion needed at that priceOn 10/13/16, I decided to look for the contact info on the manufacturing company's warrantyThe warranty showed a year warranty on frames, springs, & cushionsThe loveseat is new, stored/ locked in the house my daughter is about to move intoI contacted the company around 10/14/about the problemI spoke with *** ***, (662)***, she told me to contact the place of purchasedI told her what the owner said at the place of purchaseWhen I was asking about their warranty, either the phone cut off or she hung up, so I called right backNeedless to say, she did not answer or return my callI called back 10/17/16, told the receptionist what had happened in the middle of my conversation with ***, I was told *** probably left her desk, but she would give her the messageI have not gotten any return calls or spoken to anyone to help with the issue yet, so I decided to got the route of the Revdex.comSurely if they sell products & back them with a warranty, the company should stand by it, regardless of who sells itemsMost company have the first year policy on their productsI have the receipt, company tags off the love seat, phone dates attempting to talk to company's customer service

This is the base of the chair showing nroken pieces and missed staplesI have tried to go thru *** and they have refused to submit a claim due to this being a clearance itemSo am I stuck with a broken year old chair and out my $291.00? If so that is very poor customer service

My acceptance of the resolution does come with concerns. The sofa cushions are attached; can the manufacture provide instructions on how to replace cushions when they send replacements.

The consumer must go through the retailer that the furniture was purchased from.   AFM is not equipped to deal directly with the consumer.  AFM will resolve the problem with the retailer when the retailer advises AFM of the problem with the product.Thank you.[redacted]VP of...

Our warranty is handled through the store that purchased directly from AFM.  AMF does not sell directly to consumers.  [redacted] handles their own customer's claims.  [redacted] submits claims to AMF on their customer's behalf if they determine it is a manufacturer's warranty...

issue.  AFM offers [redacted] a 1 year warranty and does not exclude furniture that they decide to sell at a discount or in their clearance center.  Complaints beginning after the 1 year warranty period are not covered.
