American Graffiti Tattoo Reviews (1)

Review: On Saturday, May 14th 2016, my friend and I went to American Graffiti Tattoo in [redacted] so I could get a tattoo done. I had called in advance around 5pm to schedule an appointment and discuss the price. The apprentice answered the phone and eventually gave it to the tattoo artist. I was told if I get there by 7:30pm, I would be able to receive my tattoo. I also called at 7:10pm to assure them I was on the way. I arrived at exactly 7:25pm, went inside where I was not greeted; I had to speak first, then sat at a table where the apprentice brought out a folder of lettering so I could pick what I wanted. He was nice and it was his first day so he was doing what he was told. 2 other ladies, who were friends of the workers I believe, were there when I arrived and took their time picking out their choices and playing around with the workers. Only when I arrived was I told they had appointment for a week now. Around 8pm a girl came in and wanted her nose pierced. The tattoo artists' girlfriend, also the receptionist, immediately gave her paperwork to fill out and she was taken to the back. Around 8:30pm one of the other ladies was taken to the back and her 2 tattoos were started. Me and my friend were still sitting out in the main room while the tattoo artist, receptionist, the 2 ladies and another woman and baby, who had come in, were all crowded in the other room. At 9:15pm, the apprentice informed me it would only be 10 more minutes until he would be ready for me. The entire time everyone was in the tattoo room, the receptionist was talking horrible about her other job. At one point, the tattoo artist made the comment "she's gonna hate me once I hurt her ribs, the girlfriend replied " she doesn't have to like you. " At 9:30pm the tattoo artist started working on the 2nd ladies tattoo. I had asked to start my paperwork several times and was finally given it at 9:30. Before I started the paperwork, I asked how much longer it would be until he was able to start on mine. He replied " I don't know but I won't be finished until midnight, do you have a curfew?" . Another comment was also made by the girlfriend "at least you don't have to be at work at 7am". I did not reply then but my friend I was with and my ride actually did have to be at work at 7am Sunday morning. At that time I had already been waiting 2 hours, not started my paperwork and had little communication about when I would have mine started so I decided to leave. This type of environment and customer service is unacceptable and I will not be returning.Desired Settlement: I would only like an apology from the owner of the establishment and an explanation of why I was told to arrive at 7:30pm when I would still be waiting at 9:30 to get started.
