Paid $587 of $887 contract fee for materials. No services or material were delivered. Attempts to contact business have net been returned.Submitted fee for materials to install Leafree gutters. Additional fee for labor would follow upon installation. Check was sent and cashed with initial commitment to install within two weeks. Attempts to contact business by phone ([redacted]), website (www.[redacted].com), and e-mail ([redacted].com) have not been returned.Desired SettlementReturn my deposit of $587.

On 12/19/2014 ck foe 378 was written to begin installation of gutters as of 1/17/2015 service has not been provide.On 12/192014 a check for 378 was written to American Gutters and deposited by a [redacted] into a[redacted] account the same day. This check was to cover material cost of the gutters. I have yet to have gutters installed and have not received any replies to my emais or voice messages. I have left numerous times. Desired SettlementJust want to get my 378 dollars back.Business Response The customers version isn't factual. Nevertheless we have refunded this customers money in full.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The complaint was factual and I did receive my money back. This company does not understand customer service after receiving a cash payment from them I was then texted a message saying now that you see were honest would you like to have the work done. Final Business Response This customer asked for his money back to resolve this complaint. We have returned his money. He says as much in his last response. Yet this complaint is still open?This complaint appears to be open for 4 reasons. Each of which baffles me and is just another example of why I am disgusted with this process.1. In my initial response I asserted that even though this complaint is not factual we have returned his money. Now this customer isn't happy because he disagrees.Please allow me to shed some light on how this complaint isn't factual. In the complaint he states " have not received any replies". That part of the complaint was a flat out lie. In others words NOT factual.What happened was this customer called several times. We were having phones swapped over at the time. However, he did send an email and the very next day we called him and left a message. He called us back 4-5 days later apologizing for getting back so late. Now I asked you, how could one call us back and apologize then turn around and say we never responded?Even more so he stated to us he was "closing a store this week". So this customer calls us back with an excuse for not calling us back. This complaint came after and before him calling us back. That make this complaint NOT FACTUAL.2. Now this customer says we don't understand customer service. I am not sure how to respond to this other than ask a question. If he says "they don't understand quantum physics" would that be a valid complaint? An opinion of how a company understands something is not and should not be a reason to keep a complaint open. Period.3. He is also complaining that after we returned his money we contacted him attempting to salvage the job. We made him aware that we were am honest company and we would still like to do the work. He declined. End of story.Is this a valid reason to keep a complaint open? I think not.4. The most important reason this complaint is open is simply because persons who work at the Revdex.com are not reading these complaints. If they were being read you would clearly see that we HAVE resolved this complaint. And I demand it be closed with no further responses.

The company asked for a deposit for materials and has failed to do any work on the gutters, etc. A deposit was put down per their request.A deposit was requested before they could begin work and they have accepted the check with no work being done. They have not returned calls and took the funds a month ago.Desired SettlementI would either like my money back or for them to actually show up and perform the work(if they can)Business Response We have completed this job as of 4/29/15.
