When I went into the hair supply I went straight to the wigs. The young woman helping with the wigs was amazing! She was fast, friendly and even though she had tons of people to help, she always came and checked in on me. I finally found a wig that I fell in love with just to find that the wig was sold out except for the display. I figured if I could get a discount on the display that has been worn, dropped, and tried on so many times then it would make it worth it. I asked the young lady if the owner was in and she said yes, but then expressed she was afraid to get him for me because he frightened her, and tends to treat her badly. The young woman had been so sweet to me I didn't want to stress her so I went to one of the men at the front counter. We talked, and he explained policy is only 10 percent off. I expressed how it was very worn and wonder if I could speak with the owner. He refused. we then came to a conclusion he would give me 10$ off. Then soon took it back and said only 10 percent. I expressed we agreed on 10$ off, other customers who were complete strangers spoke up for me, saying he said 10$ off. I asked again to please speak with the owner. Not only did he become hostile with me, but he became belittling and demeaning. "You talk to me I told you no" is what he kept saying. He said things like "I have told you 3 times and you must not get it" "this must be hard for you to understand" "you're just not getting it are you'" he also said "you people can gang up on me but I said no" he used the phrases "you people" multiple times. My best friend and I spend so much money in this store. The maintenance of a black woman's hair is strenuous, tiresome and overpriced already so to be talked down to and treated lesser than is ridiculous. No matter if that man treated me poorly because of my skin tone, because I seemed cheap, because I am a woman, because he was having a bad day. Not only am I a customer but I am a human and I left the store feeling absolutely disrespected.
Contact by the Business I Would like contact from the owner of that store for an explanation and, an apology on behalf of his employees.
I'm responding to the Ms. ***'s complaint case#XXXXXXXX.
I researched this case even though you didn't tell the date of visit. Your case was very seldom case so, our employees could exact remembered. Here's my finding of true story:
1. The wig was already rock bottom "SALE items" there's no more discount allowed for sales item. But you kept asked an additional discount. Our new male employee offered you an additional 10% off (about $4 off) from the sale price as mistake which he should not do additional discount. We usually give an additional 10% off for displayed wig from regular price ones.
2. Our manager asked to the young female employee about your complaint, she said she never said "the owner frightened her, and tends to treat badly". I'm very disappoint you made up this story.
3. I also asked all cashiers about your complaint. All told me they never said "you people", "gang up" words. They were treat you as fair and courteous as other clients. We couldn't understand why you made up this untrue story?
Please understand every business need a reasonable profit to keep the running the business. Our employees fully explained what's we can do or what's we can't accept your asking to the lower the price. We proud of most of our clients satisfy our competitive price and quality of service. I hope you respect my employees too as much you want to be respected from them.
Nevertheless, I can't agree all your complaint story, we'll do our best when you visit here to shop again.
