This service call was during extremely cold conditions and it was the only thermostat our service technician had to replace on his truck to get the heat back on in the building. Evidently his maintenance man installed this thermostat incorrectly and was not able to get the heat functioning in the... building. Our technician installed a Standard [redacted] Pro 3000 Thermostat (which is the Base Thermostat in our business) I am refunding his check for $187.00 which will go out in mail today, but would like to have our [redacted] Pro 3000 Thermostat Returned since he will have his maintenance man install his thermostat which he says is functioning! Thanks [redacted] /American Heating & Air Conditioning Co.

We have already refunded his money approximately 3-4 weeks ago with a Credit to his Credit Card before this complaint was filed.  The conversation with the customer by our service technician was that the part that he replaced- the inducer assembly would get the furnace to fire but was no...

guarantee that the furnace would be operable because that particular furnace model number has had a history of bad heat exchangers.  Our service technician informed Mr. [redacted] of this by Phone (with the tenant standing next to our service technician).  Mr. [redacted] told our technician to replace the inducer motor to see if we could get furnace operable. We did replace the inducer assembly and when the furnace was operable he confirmed that the heat exchangers were bad and the furnace needed to be replaced.  We billed Mr. [redacted] $446.02 on 10-23-14 for this Inducer Motor. He paid within a couple of weeks with NO DISPUTE!!!  Since then he has compained about this Service Call. So we have refunded his money with a Credit to his Credit Card.
