Review: I did work for this company over the internet as a secret shopper. They agreed to pay at the end of each job which I was told to survey three stores for them. After doing the survey I was to email them information on each store and I would receive my pay in the mail. This I did and I did receive a check in the mail for $2,995.00, I cashed the check at my bank and after three day the bank informed me that the check was not good. Now the bank is asking me to pay the money back. I'm asking the company to pay the money back to me that I did the work and I can pay the bank.Desired Settlement: To settle this matter as so as possible.

This is in response to the above captioned complaint dated November 13, 2013 in which **. [redacted] indicates that he performed a job as a secret shopper for us and that he was paid by a check that was returned.

Please be advised that we do not solicit secret shoppers through the internet. We have been made aware that there is an internet scam circulating counterfeit cashier's checks in the amount of $2,995.00 that are represented as issued by American Heritage Federal Credit Union. We have received many samples of these counterfeit items.

We are very sorry that **. [redacted] is a victim of an internet scam but American Heritage Federal Credit Union did not issue the check and is not responsible for payment of the check or reimbusement to him.

Review: I made a payment online to [redacted] via my savings acct on 3/20/13. I confirmed that both the routing # and acct# are both valid. I have made payments using the same 6 digit acct# with [redacted] and [redacted] without any problems. The payment to [redacted] was returned as "no acct found" on 3/22/13. I have since been charged a $25 returned payment fee as a result. I contacted the bank to see why the payment had been returned. I was informed that depending on the company I am making a payment to I would either use the 6 digit acct # that was provided or a 13 digit acct # that I was never informed existed. I requested that I be compensated for this error.The bank failed to provide me with a 13 digit acct # when I opened my acct. None of the paperwork indicates that there are 2 acct #'s. This is an error on the bank not me nor Comcast. I informed the rep that I am able to provide documentation supporting what was submitted when I was making the payment. [redacted] was able to provide me with a screenshot of the info that I submitted on their website. The funds were in the acct and the acct # provided was submitted.Desired Settlement: Reimbursed for the returned payment fee of $25
