Dear Ms. [redacted],We are very sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with American Home Free Mortgage (AHFM) and [redacted].  We always strive to do the best that we can for our clients in a way that is fair and respectful.  We take the privacy of our client's information very seriously and would never do anything to compromise the security of any credit card information provided to us during the loan pre-qualification process.  I wanted to make sure you knew that there is no risk that your credit card information would ever be compromised by AHFM or any of our loan originators.  After speaking to Ms. [redacted] about your complaint, I believe that there was some miscommunication regarding what it would take to qualify for a FHA or Conventional loan.  As you know, obtaining a mortgage can be a very challenging and difficult experience.  There are an unlimited of factors and problems that can arise in the process of obtaining a mortgage, especially if the borrower's credit score is less than ideal.  In addition, our investors require that we follow very specific guidelines to ensure that each borrower will qualify for a loan, whether it is a conventional or FHA loan.  From what I understand, Ms. [redacted] was not able to qualify you or your other for the home that you were interested in due to a late payment on your mother's credit report.  Ms. [redacted] spent hours working on your behalf to see if she could have the late payment removed from your mother's credit report so that she could qualify for the mortgage that you needed to purchase the home.  Unfortunately, there was no paperwork or documentation that anyone could provide that would prove that the late payment on the credit report was incorrect.  As a result, Ms. [redacted] was not able to have the late removed from your mother's credit report.Despite this, Ms. [redacted] was asked by you to pull credit on yourself and Bradley at the same time, even though it was not necessary to pull credit on either individual until we could be sure that your mother's credit was sufficient.  In the end, we could not qualify your mother for the loan because the mother's credit report had challenges in addition to the late pay that everyone was already aware of.  Ms. [redacted] e-mailed both credit reports to you on the same day that the reports were pulled and then resent them them again a few days later.  Ms. [redacted] apologizes for the spelling error as this was a mistake on her part.  She is going to have the credit report corrected and will re-send another copy to you with the correct spelling.  Once again, I am very sorry about your experience.  Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
