Contacted the company about storm damage in August 2021. Very friendly and informative. Agreed to utilize their services at the end of August 2021. Multiple attempts to obtain a status was met with no answer. As of end of November 2021 no work had been performed. When asked was finally told it was based on incompetence by their employee who works with insurance companies reconciling differences with the scope of the work to be performed. Mutual agreement to end contract, company returned the insurance monies. If you are to use them you may need to call them frequently to keep them on task.

Review: American Home Specialists repaired the roof on our house in Rector, PA, and as well as the garage roof in May 2011. A major leak in the roof appeared last winter which caused major damage to a closet. The company came out once, with a promise to repair the leak. They promised to come back after ordering parts. The company has not shown up since spring of 2013, and will not answer phone calls.Desired Settlement: I want to the company to complete the repairs they promised to make.

The roof issues were repaired In late July early August. We do apologize for the delay on completing the interior repair still existing. The customer was told we wanted to wait a bit to make sure all issues with the roof were completely resolved and the roof was water tight before we made any further repairs to the interior in order to avoid any damage to new materials inside the home. We have not heard from the customer about any further issues with the roof so we are working to schedule the final repairs on the inside of the home asap.
