I am writing this letter to inform you of my disappointment with American Home Patient
First of all their sales tactics are in my eyes very unprofessional I was approached while at my sleep visit and I felt very unprepared to make a decision about my CPAP machine I was told my payment for a rent to own would be about $per month American Home Patient insisted my insurance would only cover a rent to own When I returned home I called our insurance company and they informed me that they would have paid for my device ( since just months prior they had paid for my husband's in full) But they kept insisting I had to do the rent to own I made many phone calls back and forth between you and my insurance company Most of the people at American Home Patient I spoke with were rude and treated me like I was an it I got tired of arguing about it and I desperately needed my machine Still I was told my co-pay per month would be about $ I resolved myself to the fact that American home Patient would never do anything about my situation Their billing system is eradicate at best but I made payments on my account So far to this date I have paid them over $for my CPAP and I refuse to pay anymore I was told by someone at your company that I was paying for service Well if the way I have been treated by most people at this company is called service I would hate to see what non-service would be like I was told my contract was up in January and I have been billed a few times since that date The whole experience just makes me sick I never dreamed getting a CPAP would cause so much trouble I think American Home Patient need to desperately need to go over your customer service policy and do some revisions

Incredible customer serviceBeen with them several yearsI hate to change but they can't provide the very high flow equipment I now require

This company has extremely poor customer serviceLast year, when my CPAP machine broke on a weekend, they told me they had a technician on callI waited all weekend, called American HomePatient a couple more times, was told each time that the on-call technician would return my callNo one calledOn Monday, I was told they don't handle CPAP problems on weekendsThey repaired my machine because, they said, I wasn't eligible, insurance-wise, for a new machine until December In December, they said I would become eligible in January In January, they said it would be March 2016, and someone would call meNo one didIn April I called their "Patient Advocate Helpline," where I was told that someone should call me back within one business dayYou see where this is heading? No call

I have been dealing with this company for seven months trying to get a new Cpap machine Each time I called I got a new representative and had to relate the information all over again When I complained about never getting to talk to the same person, I was told that all the information was written down each time which I know not to be the case I kept getting different instructions for what they needed from each personWhen I called to complain the person I needed to talk to was "unavailable." I was told that my call would be returned which, of course, never happenedI finally have my machine as of today, but I hope I NEVER have to deal with them again!

I contacted "The Blind Lady" and contracted with them to install "four" sunscreens for my back porch/deck area The total installation time was given to take approximately 2-weeks to complete
First, I am extremely surprised with the A+ rating for this company, as I would probably rate with a "C-" at best I do have sunscreens and they do operate, but getting to the finish line with the order/installation process was everything but pleasurable and satisfactory
This total process was saturated with mistakes, including ordering equipment, appointment scheduling, and a less than caring attitude from the company owner *** ***
This installation process took a total of months to complete properly, and caused me to miss between 8-hours of work (from poor scheduling, cancellations, etc.) One note...with the lost hours of income, naturally, the cost of this job increased
Needless to say, I was not satisfied with my experience with this endeavor, and I wish I had 'NEVER' contracted with The Blind Lady

This has been the most deplorable service ever!
Script was written October 27, 2016, received the unit in November
The home health person had mask, one was the one that the sleep study tech recommended, but was missing the head gearThe other was an odd piece that I was not comfortable with but was left because it was the only other one with her! She said she would have the other with head gear overnighted to meNever came! I called and complained that the mask that they had left me was adding to the migraines that I already experience, they said they would try and find something that might workweeks later, another person brought in something with a nose up cup and lower mouth cover, and said this might work but recommended the type that she was using, I said, could I please try itBy the second day I knew the one she left was not going to workIt is now December 20, 2016,
And I still don't have a usable mask!
I was going to move to another provider, but because you have already billed and rebilled to ***,
It is impossible, without starting at square one!
Then I received a letter of non compliance! How can you comply when you can't even get a simple mask?
Over a week after the attending person that was here, there was not a mask in the mail
I called, she sounded surprised, then said I will check the mail, I think that she just forgot about it, and when she finely got around to ordering it, the days had lapsed, and she had to find a way to get the mask! (Deplorable) I'm into my 7th week and still don't have a serviceable mask not even the one that the sleep study prescribed!
Other persons that I talked to said they got to try up to mask in there first days to find the right fit
For me the first one was the wrong one, several days later the next one was no better, and I'm still waiting!
My Heart doctor last week ask how was the cpap working out, I said I am unable to use it, and explained why, he recommended finding someone else
But you know how that worked out!

Terrible Service ! You will wait weeks and weeks for your supplies to show up ! Find someone else ! They are terrible !

I was referred to this company by my doctor. My contacts with them were frustrating. All I wanted to do was go into a local store and view equipment options. I could not arrange this and each person I spoke with in three separate locations told me a different story. They then got nasty when I expressed my frustration. This company is horrible. Avoid them. I went to a different company.

Worst customer experience I have come across in my 57 years.

I have been with American Home Patient 19 months, and have written complaint letters to Medicaire, my ins. company, COPD foundation etc. showing proof of my payments, called them at least 9 times about the bill and they refuse to correct it. You talk to different depts. all across the country and noone knows what the other dept. did. They send threatening letters to me all the time when I am paid ahead! I've had to cancel several dr appts cause they tell you they're delivering one day, then call to say, no it will be 2-3 days later and you have to be here for delivery of liquid oxygen. Right now my tank is empty. I use a walker so pulling a tank around, I can't do. They really, really don't care. This is the most immoral business I have been forced to deal with because of no options.
