What a terrible experience all the way around. Our house was built by Titan Homes with substandard materials, and less than any craftmanship, cheap quality materials, terrible finishing. Our house came in and was set onsite with 14 broken or cracked subfloor joists, water damage from the elements entering in through the roof system causing ceilings to fall and then of course MOLD in the kitchen, on and inside the walls, ceilings, carpeting and throughout portions of the house. And our house still sits unoccupied (while the mold continues to grow) and these companies, American Homes of Weedsport and Richfield Springs, Marc Kennedy owner, and the builder Titan Homes all have of refuse to make the necessary repairs to make the house what we purchased. Our house was set in Dec of 2019 and here we are over 18 months later and these companies still refuse to make it right. As with all complaints there are always two sides to the storyMr [redacted] 's Home did have the full one year warranty "bumper to bumper" coverage from usDuring that initial year and after reviewing the folder, all service was complete at the time of the one year anniversaryAlso included in this was my one year touch of any sheetrock settling cracksThis courtesy is provided to all of our Customers at no cost to them but we only come once to do this and any other future settling cracks are considered homeowner maintenanceAll Homes settle differently based on soil conditions and basement installationA homeowner does not have a lifetime warranty from us for any problems that occur, and Homeowner maintenance is recommended on a yearly basisRecently, (the week of 7/3/17), Mr [redacted] contacted us with a roof leakAfter years of living in the Home, Mr [redacted] stated the "He would rather not go up on his roof!" Which indicated to me that He possibly has NEVER gone up on his roof to check roof vents, shingle damage form storms, or just general inspectionI did point Mr [redacted] in the right direction by asking him to call the shingle manufacturer as they do have a year warranty on their shingles (That is if the shingles are actually the cause of the leak) See attached email According to Mr [redacted] 's complaint—He states that numerous people have had complaints about American Homes of Weedsport in the pastI would like proof of this as to date after years I think we have had maybe complaints that were resolved to the Customer's satisfaction as I do pride myself in Customer serviceI am sorry that this Customer seems to think He has been neglected; but He has had the same quality installation and service that we provide all of our Customers per our agreementSincerely, Bob FManager American Homes of Weedsport
