Review: I purchased a vehicle on August 24, 2014. The car had a brand new inspection sticker. I have had the vehicle in several different shops for various reasons in the last 90 days. I was told by different mechanics that the car should have never passed an inspection in the condition it is in. I cannot drive the car because it was deemed unsafe.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund

I spoke with the company and they stated that an extended 3 month warranty was sold to the consumer. The car was bought "as is" and the consumer did not take the car back to the shop for them to fix. The business sent the consumer a $[redacted] check a couple of weeks in a good faith effort.

Review: On October 8, 2014 my husband and I bought the [redacted] as a buy here pay here obligation. We received a 3 month warranty for the car that he said we could take to him or anywhere. My husband drove it back and forth to work for less than two weeks. That's from [redacted] to [redacted] Virginia about an hour drive. We drove it to the mall and a few other places. Then on October 20th he had to take my son to Richmond for a concussion check at the hospital. Richmond is about an hour away from us. The car died in Richmond and I had it towed back to American Idol Motors because I was highly irate that the car had died after less than two weeks. The [redacted] told me they would fix it free of charge. I called later in the week to check on the car and he said it had been the timing belt. My husband wanted to see the broken timing belt and never saw it. He then again said he was not going to charge us for it. A few days later I called to check on the car and he said the mechanic is still working on it. A few days later my husband went to American Idol Motors and spoke with the [redacted]. The [redacted] told him that the car needed much more repairs and we would have to pay for it, which didn't make sense because of the warranty. My husband was extremely upset because the man lied to us and he cursed. I went with my husband a few days later and the [redacted] said he would work with me but not with my husband and he would not fulfill the buy here pay here obligation instead he would only finance a car through the bank for us and he would not fix the car but told me I could take it to another mechanic. This was unacceptable so I asked for my $1000 down payment and the $50 fee he charged us because we paid with a credit card. He said he would give me $500 back and that is it because what is he supposed to do with the car and the money he put into it. This was not acceptable all I want is my $1050 back and to be reimbursed for the towing, since he lied about the warrant and has no intention of honoring his contract or warranty.Desired Settlement: I would to receive the money for the towing and the money I put down for the car which totals $1050 ($50 for a fee using a credit card).

Review: This is not the first car that my family has purchased from this dealership. The cars are always in bad condition,they were purchased with the understanding that they will be repaired but it is always a hassle to actually get things done then I call and they give me the run around no return phone calls. I have a cracked windshield that I know was there when I brought the car but no one will replace it the axles went bad the tie rod was bad and the car broke down on me twice in 2 months and that is just the most recent car that was purchased. The last car put me and my kids in danger the whole bottom of the car was bad I had to continue to make payments on a car that I didnt have it was in the shop for about 2 and a half of the 3 months that I had it for I was not accommodated of even treated fairly.Desired Settlement: I only have one vehicle and that is my only transportation to get to work I need it to be reliable and safe I would like them to replace my windshield and fix what ever is making my car shake and to provide better customer service
