as I stated and attached a email from the customer ( in the last comments )he admitted to ordering the wrong heat pump in the first place which cost me labor hours on the job which I had every right to bill extra forhe didn't pay me for the extra labor for the project which is why perfectemp hasn't responded to his issue

Hello I am responding to you directly because the email that was sent to me I couldn’t type in anythingPerfectemp installed a heat pump that was purchased by the owner at this locationOnce the owner received the equipment that he ordered we went out to the site to install it after he had someone take down the ceilingWhen we arrived at the site we discovered that he ordered the wrong unit and there was no way that it would fit because of obstacles above the ceilingWe tried to figure a way that we could make this unit work because he couldn’t return it but there was no way that it would fit without major modifications to construction and pipes in the waySo we wasted a good part of the day ( two men )getting nowhereThe owner ordered the right unit that would fit and when it arrived we came back out and installed itperfectemp sent a bill for the original proposal with a change order on it for the extra hours on it from the first day we were there to deal with the wrong unit situationwe were only paid for the original proposal and the owner refused to pay the balanceAt this point if the owner agrees to pay the balance of what he owes I will follow up on what may be wrong with the unit I must also say that if there is an issue with the unit he will be billed for this too because he purchased the unit and perfectemp is not responsible for warranty of the unit ..please advise Best regards Jeff S [redacted] Vice President Perfectemp, Inc [redacted] Ph###-###-#### Fax ###-###-#### [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  I signed the fixed price proposal for installation of the heat pump and included detailed specification of the heat pump.  Please see attached.  Even prior to that I communicated with Mr. S[redacted], and he had information regarding the heat pump dimensions in advance of providing his proposal.  I assumed he had reviewed the job and properly planned the installation.  As he indicated, when the heat pump arrived, they then decided it would not fit.  We could not return the heat pump and had to order a 2nd.  After the fact, I ask a third party who confirmed the first heat pump could have fit in the available space but would have required re-ducting.In spite have paying for 2 heat pumps, we paid for the fixed price installation as specified by the executed proposal.  Per the proposal, there is a one year warrantee on labor.  Mr. S[redacted] has refused to review the situation, and we have engaged a third party to determine whether the defect is with installation or the unit.
