Review: I withdrew from the school May 29 due to a job offer. On May 29th, the finance department sent an email stating that they understood I would be out of town for training for two weeks so they would be corresponding by email. I did not have access to my email while out of town. Upon my arrival back in town, I contacted the school on June 20th and stated I would like to sent up payment arrangements. I was informed my account had already been turned over to collections and had already received a 17% interest increase, due to being turned over to collections. This account was turned over to collections within 2 weeks of my withdrawal, even though I hadn't owed any money previously or been delinquent on any costs associated with the school.Desired Settlement: I would like the account modified and taken out of collections as the school stated they knew I would be out of town for two weeks for training, then proceeded to turn me over to collections during those two weeks.

It is Sunday morning, June 29. We have received your notification today and will take a closer look at this dispute on Monday with our financial department.

Preliminarily, we did follow all necessary procedures to notify the former student of her delinquent tuition account including certified letters, etc. Once we talk this over administratively, we can better respond with a plan of action.
