This complaint was elevated and filed with the [redacted] office The [redacted] fully investigated it and closed the case due to NO findings of ANY violations to Ms [redacted] If it has been ruled upon and dismissed at the highest level, it is an unreasonable and an injustice for the Revdex.com to leave it as "unresolved" Attached, you will find a form we give the student after they fail a test that specifically spells out the exact verbiage in the catalog in regards to a student being on academic probation after failing a test It also reminds the student that if this happens in three or more courses they may be terminated from the program You will see her acknowledgement with her signature at the bottom of the form Our school catalog is not a lengthy document It is pages in its totality We do expect the student to read it However, Dr [redacted] the Director and owner personally addresses the students on the first day of class to cover what is expected including the academic policies and procedures that are included in the school catalog This takes the better half of the first class This is not something that is glazed over lightlyMs [redacted] stated "it is their standard operating procedure to withhold that information which insures that a student will pass the half way mark and allows the school to keep the full tuition." The tuition refund policies THAT IS MANDATED BY THE STATE OF ARIZONA is clearly written in the student catalog as well as the student enrollment agreement which is also signed by Ms [redacted] .The American Institute of Dental Assisting has made a good faith effort to resolve Ms [redacted] 's complaint by offering her re admittance to the program at no additional cost to herIt is evidence that Ms [redacted] does not want to resolve this issue as she declined the offer to readmit to our programThe available seats in our class are a premium and this was offered to her.At this point we will offer again to Ms [redacted] when a seat is available the option to re-enroll in the programThe same polices and academic standards will be still be applicable to Ms [redacted] If she chooses not to re-enroll we will consider this dispute resolved and closed.Thank you for your time and attention to resolve this matter

We are the same. Students must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of dental assisting in order to graduate. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I will reiterate my discontent with the protocol they have set forth.  Again, I was NOT given the...courtesy...if you will, of a 'reminder' of the policy that states 3 fails and you are out.  Even in the response it was stated that a student 'may' be dismissed after three test fails.  That leaves quite a bit of leeway for the school to decide if and when they will terminate a student.  If I have been told, or 'reminded', after the first test of what my options were regarding a refund, I would have been able to make an informed decision after the second fail and been able to recoup, at minimum, a portion of my tuition.  I was told I was doing well on my clinicals and encouraged to proceed.  I can not help but believe this was negligence, or at the very minimum bad business practice, and that it is their standard operating procedure to withhold that information which insures that a student will pass the half way mark and allows the school to keep the full tuition.  Congratulations for not having a complaint to the Revdex.com prior to this.  I do not believe for a minute that this has not been an issue before, only that previous students either had grants or been otherwise financially unburdened by this.  I on the other hand do not have that luxury.I believe I deserve a full refund.  I have spoken to several students in the class and they, too, state they were not told of this rule.  Should I have read the handbook in its entirety?  Perhaps I should have.  But that does not negate the fact this institution school failed me in clearly stating my options once my difficulty in passing the tests was apparent, and that by their own admission, the testing is set forth in such a time frame that the third test is given after the 'grace' period.
