I would like to add a picture to substantiate my pointI ordered the door out-swing and the only way to make this happen is to have the hinges on the outside of the door; which of course is not appropriateHinges hanging on the outside of the door allows an intruder to remove the hinges and gain access to my home.That is why the door was installed with hinges inside of the homeAlso, a picture of the door would demonstrate evidence that the bottom portion of the door with the medal has to be on the outside of the door because it was built that way to swing in not outsideI actually like the door; therefore, I in good conscious will not continue to banter back and forth with the companyThe customer service is horrible, constant run around and promises of calling back when they do notThe gentlemen who installed the door were kind,
but I would not ever order a door from the company again, and would not recommend this company to othersTheir response was less than forthcoming and they are not ethicalI was unable to speak with the manager and definitely not the ownerMany calls to the company were diverted to office staff and although they were respectful, I did not believe they understood the importance of customer serviceI would like my complaint posted so customers will know what they are getting into before they purchase a doorI do not have any additional energy to respond againLove the door, but the company itself lacks leadership and customer service training

The hinges on the door are on the exteriorThese are not like interior door hinges where removal of a pin will all the door panel to be removedThese are adjustable French Door hinges, they don't have a pin
The door sill is how the door was designedIt is the same as the sill on the sample door at the factoryThe customer had the opportunity to see this door when she was that the facilityIt is right next to the door to the office
Furthermore, the weep holes are on the exterior side of the frameThis is a clear indication of whether the door is inswing or outswing
We have pictures of an outswing door including drawings of the hinges to substantiate what I've writtenThe customer is welcome to call and email and we can forward the pictures and technical specifications on the hinges
The customer had the doors delivered to their home on a Friday, she let the factory know there was an issue with the hinges that dayThe following Monday a service tech went to her house and resolved the issue
The customer had the opportunity to see a door at the factory when the door was ordered
American Integrity has worked to be responsive

I so appreciate the honesty of the new owners and accept they will resolve our problem. I read on Yelp today that a client who had similar issues with AI was contacted by the new CEO. He recently received his Windows and that gave me hope!!!
I will expect a positive resolution and will continue talking with the hardest working Office Manager on the planet - Heidi. She has carried the weight of this company on her shoulders and I have great empathy for her.
