I have a signed work order authorizing 10,000 in labor for this project. As outlined in the BAR report, in excess of 51 labor hours were logged on this project. Items and functions completed are documented. Please see BAR'S report concerning  this case and it will show all parts and unused...

parts money was returned to the customer. I also have a signed off inventory list showing delivery of said parts, and over 45 min of video footage taken from 3 cameras that was captured while customer was picking up parts. This customer has a track record of trying to rip off performance shops in northern California. It's the same hustle at shop after shop.  Then bragging about what he got out of them even after signing non-disclosure agreements. We never cancelled Any project, the customer said he wanted to terminate the build due to financial hardships, his personal battles with substance abuse and not being able to control these hardships. The hot rod community is small and everyone is aware of con artist Joe and his practices.

not worried about being "careful"  it's not slander it's a fact your a shady human being looking for a handout everywhere you go.  not this time dude. we owe you nothing. you posted Court records showing that. have a good day.

Review: I am disabled. I became disabled July 7, 2011. [redacted] & [redacted], owners were given $21,795.00 , $16,795.00 in parts, $5,000.00 deposit for labor, by [redacted], for the build of an up & running 51 Ford Hot-Rod on January 19,2015. When it came time to build the car, [redacted] put the 51 back on the lift for the 2nd time, and noticed things wrong with the 51, came up with the conclusion, this car would cost and additional $25,000, [redacted] called me and said, project is cancelled due to unknown expense. [redacted] said my only options were to find another vehicle. We never found another vehicle for this project, I asked for all my parts that I purchased and the $5,000.00 deposit I gave him for labor. 6 months go by, after many left messages, with employees and answering machine, to return my phone call, and he never did. I finally called BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) and spoke to Investigator [redacted], who opened this investigation, was able to retrieve my parts minus $1,670.00, which was paid by cashiers check. He was not able to retrieve the $5,000.00 in labor, [redacted] refused to pay. I have a full declaration with exhibits and photos are available. BAR report has been filed and turned in.

Would you please help me get my $5,000.00 in labor back. I feel as though I have been taken advantage of, mis-treated, and grossly ignored for 6 monthsDesired Settlement: Pay back my deposit!

Response:

What new information? Joe is crossing a line of defamation of character and pure harassment. Bar never ordered us to be paying anything other that giving his parts back that were special ordered. No violations were ever filed. He is a substance abuser looking to scam. Not going to work here at this shop. Sorry. Feel free to call me anytime. [redacted] is my cell-[redacted]

Response:

I am rejecting this response because his accusations are totally false how long is this going to continue on if we can't come to a resolution soon I'm taking my matter to the court where I will definitely win where the bar report is waiting for the judge to read:
