I was hired in June of 2014, to help Mrs [redacted] with her (2) two extremely aggressive caninesThe two large canines would fight to the point of serious injury or death if unassisted in physically breaking up the two caninesThe program that was purchased by Mrs [redacted] ($dog#1, $ dog#2) covers individual training sessions per dog, a class and a year of periodic maintenanceThe programs available for purchase are listed on my webpage and has been the same programs I have offered since What Mrs [redacted] received over the course of months was: no extra charge for extended gas mileage throughout the entire process (min drive), two times actually driving the entire way just to be told one or both dogs were unavailable, individual per dog sessions, dual dog sessions (both dogs together), personalized training classes for the owner, and follsessionsMrs [redacted] received approximately 250% more than what she paid for and repeatedly stated throughout the process how well her dogs were doing (Via text which I can provide)Mrs [redacted] even after receiving all of that time from myself, would have received more had she not done the following:1) In the middle of training decided to completely cease contacting AMK9TS from Nov 2014, to March 10, during that time frame AMK9TS was not contacted once, for remedial training, questions, concerns, anythingThis time frame was crucial to continuing what had been conditioned into her dogsDuring this time she was supposed to be continuing techniques and exercises taught to herThis process generally takes a month at mostWhen asked why it took her so long to contact me, she stated it took her that long to contact me because she needed the MONTHS to put a muzzle on one of her dogsIt has been my experience in my over years in this field that it takes approxminutes on a bad day to get a muzzle on a dogMrs [redacted] is an extremely busy womanShe works full time and is a small business owner herselfI have no doubt that her schedule became busy and she put the importance of her dogs below that of her daily obligationsThis excessive time frame of no contact made it unrealistic that anything that was gained from my training would still be displayed by either dog2) On march 2015, Mrs [redacted] decided on her own to put the two dogs togetherIt was first presented to me that the two dogs had fought, then she switched her story to she had people hold back the two dogs and did her own training sessionEither way this is in direct conflict to ANYTHING she was taughtThat type of exercise with actual people holding the dogs back, compared to an inanimate object, actually enhances the dogs drive to fight each otherDog training, let alone excessively aggressive dog behavior modification, is in no way shape or form a given to correct anything on its ownIt's success is crucial to the owners competent follow through, but above all else the dogs capacity and ability to succeedTo even suggest that any behavioral therapy on its own can and should correct anything is preposterousI have years as a federally certified kennel master (***), year as a Department of justice explosive dog handler, years as a law enforcement khandler, and two years as a government employee as an explosive khandlerThis does not include the literal thousands of dogs and owners I have trained and instructed since in my current capacity Any reasonable individual would understand that at this point in my professional career I know what I'm doingThe two extremely crucial aspects of the process that I had zero control over is the owners competence and reliability to follow through with my instruction and the dogs capacity to succeed, in this case dual canine extreme aggression I truly understand that having to make the tough decision of euthanizing an animal is an extremely emotional and horrible experienceWhat I do not appreciate is not only ignoring self responsibility, but actually laying blame at someone who spent countless hours and went above and beyond to do everything they could to help in an extremely unhealthy situationMrs [redacted] was mailed a formal letter stating my position and leaving nothing to doubt about why any further assistance by AMK9TS was not possible
