The check is being processed through [redacted] ***......just has to have all the funds there to transfer That is another reason our policy is as it isPayPal even denied your chargeback because when they investigated they read the posted policy terms and determined you were notified of terms and conditions prior to fee payment We are very small and it is quite a financial hit for us but nevertheless I agreed to remunerationStill you escalatedI don't know how I can be more fairIn review of our conversations it was like you pulled every dog disease known to man, out of the hysteria hat! If you are slinging words like "untrue" around, please look to your own statements One vet said this and another said thatwhen in fact he continues to be in great health with the exception of needing his teeth cleaned which you said in advance you were going to do and his mild/ moderate cataracts which was predisclosed as well Once I understood that eye surgery was probably iminent I agreed to refund his adoption fee ( which would have paid for one eye lens and surgery) You then asked for even more which I could not do He also continues to be an incredible boy , and would have completed your family nicely had you not let the obsessive behavior take overYou have onus in this You then went after me in a defaming way in your documentsI have had pride in having a great reputation over the last years Then to even retort in your response in saying Gracey was too small? Really? You even mentioned to me how she was perfectly sized for her therapy dog duties! I am sorry for things turning out like this I really am Maestro is a wonderful guy who I genuinely thought would be a great placementfor you and *** I had already given you my word that I would send your fees in the amount I agreed upon Best, [redacted]

*** is a lovely, delightful young girl who loves her Maverick very muchI made special payment arrangements with her to accommodate her budgetShe was very happy with him and her building at that time accommodated
much larger dogs than heShe has sent me great pictures of her with Maverick often and never was any point made about his weightWhen I initiated contact with her last month to check in to see how they were doing she was thrilled with him but a bit concerned about his weightHe is a very solid, sturdy boy with beautiful conformation but still well within the height constraints of a micro/mini, as are his siblings, although to date he is apparently the heaviest of his litter mates, according to the pound quote from *** in her complaintWe cannot control weight obviously after they go to their new homes*** failed to also relate in her complaint that in that same conversation, in good faith, I offered her a new puppy…… at any time now or in the future when she felt she could handle two small dogsThis offer was made without the contingency of the return of Maverick, which she adamantly did not want to doWe strive in every way possible to accommodate all ‘special orders’ to the best of our experience and genetic studySincerely, *** *** American Labradoodles 877-366-

It was a surprise to me since I had been in constant contact with Ms***Let me first say that Ms*** and I have an over two year relationshipShe has Gracey, another one of our dogs,
who she is very happy with, which is why several weeks ago, Ms*** called about one of our retired males, Maestro
After his vet visit, I disclosed that he had three issues, prior to his homecoming;
Cataracts, and they would require drops medication to hopefully abate them or surgeryShe was also told to take him to a veterinary ophthalmologist to assess the best scenario for treatment, which she agreed toTeeth scaled and cleanedshe had no issue with that as she is a hygienist and said she would do it herselfHe was underweight by 3-pounds
These issues gave him and overall rating of out of which is general good health with the exception of the disclosed issuesI told her that the placement of Maestro to her was contingent upon her acquiring pet health insurance which she agreed to, and I gave her the reference
I also talked extensively about the time it takes for an older dog to adjust to a new home....the rule of thumb, is one week for every year old the dog is, so in Maestro's case, five weeks adjustment periodShe without hesitation, agreed and stated she would be patient and kind throughout his transition
When Maestro arrived at the airport after a fourteen hour journey including layover, they were an hour late picking him up, and then left him unrestrained the back of a pickup truck, for the next hour to their homeMaestro is used to riding inside the vehicle
I called to see about his arrival and she told me that he was very thirsty and drank heavily, was very hungry, urinated and seemed nervous
All to be expected after his wait and travel ordealI asked her not to transport him again in the back of the truck and she was irritable
The next day, not hours later, Ms*** took him to a vet as he was drinking a lotThat vet told her the same issues that the original vet had disclosedShe told me that the dog was "diagnosed" with Cushing's disease, which there was never any tests forThere are very specific tests for this that were absolutely not doneThe next day she took him to yet another vet who supposedly said it was two other diseases, according to her, but still nothing as far as any proper testing to determine anything, only slightly elevated counts and dilute urine, which came from heavy water consumption from being dehydratedTests were never done to substantiate any disease, and she worked herself up and she was
non responsive to me, and she did not include me in any of thisI told her I thought it best to send him back, especially when she did not get the health insurance as agreedAll of this occurred after less than hoursShe had a valid certificate of good health for his flight, with NO evidence of any illness
Our written policy states that "payments are transferable, not refundable"She stated she did not think she could handle another puppy due to her scheduleAn older dog was out of the question as well from my view as it was obvious she was not willing or able to make the time necessary that the dog needed to adjustMaestro has no other issues other than were previously disclosed significantly prior to homecoming
I do not know why Ms*** is reacting so negatively and disparaginglyShe knows us well and she has given us referralsHer Gracey, also from us, is beautiful, smart and healthyMaestro had only the issues listed and he is trained, loving and smartI believe she thought that it would be easier than it was, even though she had been made aware of the adjustment periodThere has to be time to bond, and Maestro was not given his dueShe pulled back in her obsessiveness, she then attempted to justify her behavior with an erroneous diagnoses', which was never substantiatedI initially had offered to refund the adoption fee if she loved him, and she was very receptive to thatShe then asked me for an additional to take care of any "future" issues that may occurI declinedI told her we would refund his adoption fee, in full, as well as transportation one way, plus the travel kennelThat is a total of with payment to be refunded by March 14,
Under the circumstances, I feel that her reaction was uncalled forWe have been forthcoming and reasonable throughout this unfortunate ordeal, and will refund the monies as above
Thank You
Sincerely,

The dog we purchased is great and temperament as described by *** However, and importantly, it is Not hypo allergenic- as the Americanlabradoodle website prominently says it's dogs will be on its website

We were referred to this breeder by a friend who had already bought a dog from them....and we knew that others had has wellWe were concerned because we lived halfway across the country from the breeder but every aspect of the transaction went as well as possible.....from the communication prior to getting the dog, to arranging transportation, and most importantly the dog itselfOur dog (Zowie) has been an amazing addition to the family and while we have had many other dogs I can say that this dog (as well as the others I know that came from this breeder) is truly special! It seems that this breeder produces the nicest, most cuddly, most amazing dogs and I could not be more pleased than to recommend them....both this breed and this breederWe WILL be getting another one from them someday

To Whom it May Concern,
The client noted had called to schedule an appointment as they stated, even
verified our company would be there the day of the appointment (2-26-14).
They were advised that a representative from our company would be there.
The scheduled time of arrival was to be around...

1:00 pm. The nature of our
business, (not knowing how long each service job may take) does require
constant communication between clients, technicians, and office personnel.
The technician from our firm contacted the client as stated at 9:27 am, on
2-26-14 the date of the appointment to attempt to arrive earlier. The client
however, was a distance away and informed our technician she may be there
around 12:30 pm. Our technician stated to her that he should still be there
around 1:00 pm. The client agreed that it would be OK, but if we weren't
going to make it to let them know.
After the client agreed, the technician was then dispatched to another area,
where there is no cell service. Apparently, when the client tried to reach the
technician it kept going straight to voicemail. Immediately when the
technician regained service, at that time attempted to call the client 1:34 pm
to let them know we were on the way. All of these times came off of cell phone
records, There was no answer and a voicemail message was left by our
technician stating we were on the way. The client never called back, so we
then called again at 1:45 pm, the client then informed the technician that she
had left the home, to not come back.
Our firm strives hard to not let these types of things happen, and we are sorry
it did. We feel if the client had attempted to contact our office, when not
being able to get in touch with the technician this issue would have never
happened. Our firm can honestly say, this doesn't happen. We work hard to
let our clients know the time of arrival and keep them updated as well. It is
apparent that this client has used someone in the past that has stood them up.
Sincerely,
Evan Layman

My complaint was not filed as a result of being stood up by another company as the respondent suggested. I've had many contractors work on this home and none of them were late. I, also, checked cell phone records. There was no indication of a call received at 1:34 pm. If I had received the call at that time, I would have returned to the property. The only call that I received from the company that afternoon was at 1:43.The lesson to be learned here is the importance of communication. When you know you're going to be late, you call. If you're in an area with poor cell phone reception, you find a better spot or use a pay phone.

The pre-flight examwould not of shown any abnormalities unless they would of done blood and urinetests. Maestros teeth were in need of a cleaning since they were heavilycovered in buildup. She knew we wanted a dog thatcould do all the activities we do and that is why we chose and 4 year old andnot a puppy. The fact is that after I got the vet report from her vet andasked her why she did not tell me he had 2 cataracts, she said she did notknow. She was not present at that appointment. But she did know  all the other details of that exam and notabout 2 moderate cataracts. She reported of one small beginning which wasn’taccurate. She said she would refund me $2050 for his original costsShe said she would arrange for him to return and pay. We paid for him to flyback. She has yet to reimburse us after telling me she would one week from hisarrival. I also asked for reimbursement for the vet bills, so she could haveall his test results.I feel a full refund of his adoption fee of $1500 and theother costs to get him here of $300. I also purchased a kennel for $224 that wasused for both directions and she had in her possession. There was an additional$550 t get him home that she said she was going to cover. I feel this is reasonable because I did not receive the dog Iwas had purchased, according to 2 vet records.[redacted]Regards,[redacted]

The check is being processed  through [redacted]......just has to have all the funds there to transfer.
That is another reason our policy is as it is. PayPal even denied your chargeback because when they investigated they read the posted policy terms and determined you were notified of terms and conditions  prior to fee payment.
We are very small and it is quite a financial hit for us but nevertheless I agreed to remuneration. Still you escalated. I don't know how I can be more fair. In review of our conversations it was like you pulled every dog disease known to man, out of the hysteria hat! If  you are slinging words like "untrue" around, please look to your own statements.
One vet said this and another said that....... when in fact he continues to be in great health with the exception of needing his teeth cleaned which you said in advance you were going to do and his mild/ moderate cataracts which was predisclosed as well . Once I understood that eye surgery was probably iminent I agreed to refund his adoption fee ( which would have paid for one eye lens and surgery).
You then asked for even more which I could not do.
He also continues to be an incredible boy , and would have completed your family nicely had you not let the obsessive behavior  take over. You have onus in this.
You then went after me in a defaming way in your documents. I have had pride in having a great reputation over the last 20 years.
Then to even retort in your response in saying Gracey was too small? Really? You even mentioned to me how she was perfectly sized for her therapy dog duties!
I am sorry for things turning out like this.
I really am.

I simply reported what the doctors said form exams and lab work. I wouldmuch rather of spent over $2000 for a healthy dog. We are very responsible petowners and knew Maestro had to have an exam before any general anesthetic whetherit was for a dental cleaning or neutering. Two different doctors from 2different clinics reported to me. I have proof. This was not made up or pulledfrom the air. Not one person who met him and know me thought I was compulsivein my behavior. The experts saw what saw. Having a second opinion was notobsessive. I felt I need to make sure I had enough information because thing I wantedwas send him back.I spent over $2000 dollars getting him here, then $475 tofly him home in a kennel I bought and she has. It has been over 2 months sincehe went home and all we have has been promises to repay. It is very difficult to trust what she says in regards ofany repayment. When she wanted him back, she said the money would be here oneweek later. In later communication she said it would be March 17th. Threeweeks later she said it is being processed. She claims hardship. Well we spentover $3000 on a dog we do not have. She has a business and we took a huge financialhit. I now have huge debt that I cannot pay off and no pet.[redacted]Regards,[redacted]
