American Lapidary Wholesalers

Same as with alot of folks I see online for complaints against this company. Don"t do business with them!
They work out of their house, see google maps, the phone number has been disconnected.
They absolutely do not return emails. I have sent them an email a day with zero response.
They only shipped a small part of my order but had no problem taking my money for the whole order and shipping.
After several weeks of trying to contact them I had to go through my credit card company to get my money back.
These people are a scam at best.
The pricing they have may be a bit lower than some but they make their profit by not sending you everything you order.

Mr. [redacted] placed an order for two items. We shipped on item and had to backorder the second. He was informed of the backorder. Unfortunately, due to an order entry error on our part he received the correct style but not the correct size. We DID NOT charge him for the item that was backordered. We...

were going to send the correct size when we shipped the backordered item this Wednesday, 3/29. His last email to us on 3/17 noted he wanted a refund for the order. We refunded the amount he was charged, told him he did not have to return the item he did receive, and canceled the balance of the order.

Don't deal with them. They don't deliver. They don't respond to Email. When you call the fax number, a Doctor's office answers. The Doctor's office has no idea who ALW is.

I ordered diamond wheels and saw blade from American Lapidary in August 2017. They raised an invoice and emailed it to me on August 2. I had not received the parcel by September 11 and sent them an email without success. I emailed again on September 15 without a response. Today September 23 I have tried to telephone the number of the company in yellow pages. The phone number is disconnected. I wouldn't deal with this company at all in the future

Ordered Polishing laps for my faceting machine and I have not received them or had any communication from them. I payed through Paypal and the company has yet to even respond to their contact attempts so far.

Review: I ordered a faceting Machine from American Lapidary Wholesalers the first part of May 2015. I received an e-mail with an attached invoice that states the Machine would be shipped on May 25, 2015. I have not received the machine. I have emailed the company 5-6 times about the issue and have had no response. I want my faceting machine-The one I paid them for along with paying for shipping. I am very upset and When I call the phone number ###-###-#### The recording says that the number-has requested to not receive incoming phone calls. I was/am upset enough that I told them in the last email (yesterday) that If I have not heard from them in 7 days I would seek legal assistance. I would rather receive the machine I paid for than go through that process.Desired Settlement: I would like the Faceting machine I ordered. I would also like to speak with a real person about my issue. In the last resort I would like my funds returned with interest.
