This website quicklaptopcash.com says that they send payment 24-48hrs after receiving item. I was emailed about receiving the item on Friday. It is now Wednesday. I received an email stating that I would receive a lesser amount than originally stated and that I would get the payment "today" which was Tuesday. They haven't responded to one of my emails which they say is a good way to reach them. I did first agree to the lesser amount, but after not receiving payment when they said I'd like the laptop back.Desired SettlementI would like my laptop back.

They offered me a price for my laptop and after I send it they refuse to pay it and asked money to send it back.I used their service for my working condition old laptop. It has battery and keyboard problems which I told then they gave me quote for my laptop and I sent it to their office in [redacted]. 1 week later I got an email from them saying my laptop has motherhood problems and they can't pay me anything back and if I want my laptop back I must send them $35. This is a way of stealing other people's stuff. When I email them their way or respond is showing what type of unprofessional business practices they have. If they can't pay what they promise they must send it back. Desired SettlementThey can either pay what they promised to or I want them to send me back my laptop without charging me for something already owned by me.

Was given a quote for my laptop of $107 and then after they received the laptop they valued it at $26. Asked for it to be returned, they have not.I got a quote for my ** G60 laptop of $107. After I sent the laptop in they came back with a decreased quote of $26 on 3/11/15. I found that unacceptable and asked for the return of my property as I will keep it for that price and make use of it otherwise. They repeatedly did not return emails and when they did, the response was that they will still honor the given price of $26 and refused to answer my request to have the product returned. I want my laptop returned promptly. This website appears to be a large online scam. Desired SettlementI would like my laptop shipped back to me in the same working order in which I shipped it to the company.Business Response We have answered your e-mails numerous times, your computer arrived with non original (cheap replacement) battery and charger and a bad keyboard. These seem to be things you are well aware of, yet didn't include when receiving the quote?Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)There is no resolution here and the response is indicative of why the current Revdex.com rating for this company is an F. There was no response to my emails till I forwarded an original email from March 19th on March 26th stating I was going to file a complaint. That is when I got a response. You are correct that it was not an original battery, but rather an upgrade (not cheap), one with a battery life 3 times as great as the original. I have no idea what you are referencing in regards to a bad keyboard. I never had an issue with my keyboard. The laptop is fully functioning and the only reason I sold it was because I didn't need 2 laptops and a surface anymore. However, for $26 I would opt to keep my laptop or give it to a student that needs one (I am a teacher), rather than donate it to a scam. There is nothing in the paperwork that stated what happens when the customer disagrees with a downgraded quote, therefore I am not agreeing to the $26 and would like my equipment back. I expected a response to that request. Please advise. Thank you.Final Business Response The terms of use you agreed to twice upon selling your laptop:http://www.quicklaptopcash.com/terms-of-useFinal Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Per my email 3/19/15, which was not responded to till I fwded it again on 3/26/15 threatening to contact the Revdex.com, I stated I would not accept the $26 and to send my laptop back. Below is a part of your terms and conditions which addresses this very issue so I am confused on why this continues to go unresolved. Send my laptop back in the condition it was sent to you and tell me how to pay the $35 fee. Your terms and conditions:B. In the event an offer is made using Quick Laptop Cash's online website and Quick Laptop Cash re-evaluates an offer after an item was received and inspected, Seller will have the option of accepting or rejecting the new offer. If the new offer is accepted, Seller will be paid via the payment method originally selected when obtaining the online quote. If the new offer is rejected, Quick Laptop Cash will attempt to address any issues or findings with the laptop via email. If an agreement cannot be reached, Quick Laptop Cash will return the Laptop to Seller's registered mailing address for $35, this fee is assessed to cover the costs of multiple shipments (from seller to Quick Laptop Cash, then back to seller).

Quick laptop cash cheated me out of my laptop. Quick laptop cash promised to pay me a certain amount for my used laptop. I shipped the laptop to them exactly how they told me to but according to the manager it was damaged during shipping so they refused to give me the money or the laptop back unless I paid a 45 dollar fee. They pretty much ripped me off and took my laptop without paying for it. Desired SettlementI would either like my laptop back in the same condition it left my possession the 62 dollars that they told me they would pay me. Business Response [redacted], you sent us a computer that had absolutely no functionality to it whatsoever, this is far different than the quote you originally ran on our website. We did indeed offer to recycle the computer for you free of charge. You can't simply send in a paperweight (knowing it doesn't work) and expect us to pay top dollar for it. Our quoting process is based upon your answers, you said the computer had a bad battery, not a bad motherboard and broken plastic casings.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The computer worked fine when I sent it out to quick laptop cash, I took pictures just in case I ran into an issue like this. You offering to recycle the laptop is a joke, I could of taken it to any recycling center and made at least 15 dollars even if it didn't work which it did. Their are roughly twenty something complaints filed against your company with the Revdex.com alone, obviously it was my bad for not making sure you were a refutable company. All I want is the money you owe me, but if you don't want to do what's right then I'm going to do everything I can to warn people about your business practices. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)You should look closer at the screen shots I attached because they clearly state bad battery and motherboard, that's beside the point anyways because that computer had nothing wrong with it. It would not have mattered if I sent you a new computer you would still say the same thing. If you have no resolution to propose then stop replying we can let the Revdex.com and law enforcement handle it from here. You already have twenty something complaints filed against you, what's one more? You are scammers and I'm going to do my best to make sure everyone knows. Final Business Response You conveniently didn't include bad batter, bad plastics and bad motherboard. Come on, you did NOT believe that computer worked when you sent it. Why accuse us of a lie? The computer simply doesn't work, do whatever you'd like to do, it is a big paperweight, trust us, we aren't happy to receive a non functional computer.

Company failed to honor agreement to pay $110 for my laptop and refuses to return it with my paid postage. On September 2nd 2014 I requested a sellers quote from QuickLaptopCash.com for a used HP laptop. I was quoted $110 in exchange for my laptop. I was asked to list any issues with the laptop. I listed the issue that my laptop needed a new battery because the current one did not hold the charge very long. The quoted price was still listed as $110. On September 3rd I received a confirmation email from Quick Laptop Cash, it stated that my quote was confirmed and a pre-paid empty package was sent to my mailing address for the laptop. Quick Laptop Cash states it has a 48 hour turn around time. I received the pre-paid box and on September 8th 2014 I took it to a[redacted] location to be shipped. I received a receipt for the package with the tracking number. The scheduled delivery was posted as September 15th 2014. I tracked the package on September 15th 2014 and the[redacted] site confirmed delivery of the laptop to Quick Laptop Cash. On September 17th 2014 I called Quick Laptop Cash to inquire about receipt of the laptop since I did not receive a confirmation email. I was told someone name [redacted] that the laptop was not there. I stated that the laptop was delivered on 09/15/2014. [redacted] then said oh yes its here I was just going to send you and email about receiving it. I said okay thank you. I received an email approximately 30 minutes after the phone call confirming receipt and stating that payment would be made in 48 hours. On September 19th 2014 at 12:02 I received an email from Quick Laptop Cash claiming the laptop had damages to the batter, the keyboard, two dead spots and heavily worn plastics and for those reasons they can not honor the initial offer but can recycle the laptop. I replied to the email asking for the retune of my laptop because the damages they listed were in correct. I realized this was a bait and switch tactic and wanted no parts of it. They told me I had to pay $35 to get my laptop back. I told them because they re running a less then honorable business I am not comfortable giving them any financial information. I offered to send them a pre-paid packaging all at my cost to have my laptop sent back to me since their shipping is very excessive. I asked to be provided with their facilities address where they laptop is kept so it can be sent back to me in my pre-paid package. They still refused. They started accusing me of being a liar. I believe that my laptop was damaged within their care and they are unable to return it because it is not in the condition I sent it to them. I emailed them and outlined my request to pay for my laptop to be shipped locally and have the package sent to them and they are just ignoring me at this point. I am out the money they promised and my laptop with no reply. I have all of the emails from them.Desired SettlementReturn of my laptop in the working condition it was sent to the company. Laptop was sent with the issue of a bad battery and stickers on the keyboard NO other issues. If any other issue is found I will take legal action for damages caused to my property. Laptop must be returned with original HP power cord that it was sent with.

Quick Laptop Cash said they would give me 70 dollars for my computer if in good working condition. They e-mailed me back saying I had heavily worn plastics. I e-mailed back saying the computer was in excellent condition and it was. It looked brand new. Then no more e-mails came. They would not answer the phone or return my calls until I sent them an e-mail saying I was going to contact the [redacted]. The bottom line is they owe me 70 dollars and they say they will send me the 60 for heavily wore plastics but in fact they won't pay me at all.Order_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like to receive the 70 dollars they agreed to for my excellent condition and fully operating computer as they agreed to on line. Business Response You are making false claims, the computer does indeed have damaged plastic casings, and your check for $60 has already been mailed as you agreed to. "but in fact they won't pay me at all" - This is provably false.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)My computer had no damaged plastic casings. This is absolutely false. When they would not return my e-mail as such or return my calls or answer my calls. I did send an e-mail stating to send the 60 dollars and I would contact the [redacted] to get the other 10 dollars. I never agreed to the 60 dollars as full payment. I will forward the e-mails between us as proof of that. At this point am I allowed to cash the 60 dollar check if sent to me under the circumstances as they are now?

I received an email from the company specifically stating the following:Product Name [redacted], [redacted]Final Price 80.00Options Please make any selections below that apply to your laptopBad Hard Drive - Freezes, Blue Screen, Virus or PasswordThe company said that they would only give me $40 for such laptop with such a malfunction. However, that is not what was promised when I sent the laptop. I probably will lose to this company, but at least I hope this will never happen again. It's unfair to have companies lie.Desired SettlementI would like to get my $80, but it probably won't happened. I hope that this does not happen to other people.Business Response As you've stated we would have paid $80 for it in good condition, however you told us it had a bad hard drive, which changed the price.

I used their website to sell my laptop. I saw there was a couple of them listed all around the Reno Area. The Revdex.com does not list their website for some reason but I got the quote on www.quicklaptopcash.com not the www.americanlaptopwarehouse.com one. Was very confusing for me I emailed the Revdex.com about that. I wanted to leave a review that wasn't completely negative. On 1/12/15 I sold my Acer laptop to them and although I got paid the $67 quoted it took a little longer than their website said (2 days was 5 days). So overall I am happy just expect a slightly longer wait. However if you call they're nice and answer all questions about the delays etc. B or B+ rating from me.","pos-1

I upgraded from my 2012 acer laptop and quicklaptopcash.com gave the highest price for a "buy back". I should have looked up reviews of the company before mailing it in. After receiving the laptop, the quote went from $72 to $31. Other people have had the same problem with this company. They give you a high quote then find "problems" with the item to low ball you. The problem with my computer was "scratches" on the case. I took pictures of the laptop beforehand and it was in impeccable condition. Don't send anything to this company.","neg-1

I sent my laptop in not working condition to quicklaptopcash because they offered me $109.00. when they recieved it they said that they werent going to pay me anything and that they recycled it. none of this was first reported to me as far as I knew they were going to pay me for my laptop. I called them 3 or 4 times trying to figure out what was going on and they kept saying that when they were done they would inform me of when I would recieve my payment until finally they said I wasnt going to recieve anything at all so they (quicklaptopcash) basically stole my laptop from me and will not return it or pay me what they said they would...Product_Or_Service: hp dv5 1125nrOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired Settlementi would like to get the payment of $109.00 that they promised me as I would've never sent it to them if I knew they were going to just keep it and not give me anything at all

I sent a laptop to quick laptop cash and was quoted $65. They received it and said it is now only worth $20.Sounds good, thanks! On Mon, Dec 2, 2013 at 2:02 PM, [redacted] wrote:I am going to take that as a yes and you will be hearing from my legal counsel shortly.Thank You[redacted]Date: Mon, 2 Dec 2013 13:59:08 -0800Subject: Re: Quick Laptop Cash Order Update [redacted]From: [redacted]To: [redacted]I'm sorry we cannot provide legal advice for youOn Mon, Dec 2, 2013 at 1:56 PM, [redacted] wrote:Are you saying I should not wait 7 days and that I should pursue legal action immediately?Thank You [redacted]Date: Mon, 2 Dec 2013 13:53:49 -0800Subject: Re: Quick Laptop Cash Order Update [redacted]From: [redacted]To: [redacted]Unfortunately we will not be sending a check for $65 for the laptop, we again can offer $20 considering the damage and non functional parts. Have possession of my laptops. Will not honor original quote or send my laptops back.I sent my laptops to quick laptop cash on May 4,within in mind that for the three laptops I sent I was going to receive 200.00 for all three. My laptops arrived at their facility on May11 and I called on May 12 confirm that the laptops have arrived only to be treated like crap and rushed off the phone by [redacted] when I asked him what the process was for selling your laptops he said they are still in the box and your laptops aren't the only ones here and that he didn't have any information for me. I became irrateted that a business would talk to their customers like this so I asked for [redacted] to send my laptops back to me. He refused and said no that he was going to pay for them..after minutes of going back and forth with[redacted] I let it go and hung up..only to receive a email stating that one of my laptops was severely damage and that they were going to recycle it.. Which I requested for the laptop to be shipped back to me. I called on May 12 and spoken with [redacted] again to be told that he he sent a email.out which I never recieved about my other two laptops with a didn't quite because of the chargers were missing. I replied that I just want my laptops back and I didn't get any response.I called [redacted] on May 15 to he told that a payment was going to be made to my [redacted] account within a hour still nothing..although I fail to provide my [redacted] information it still doesn't take four days to pay a person through [redacted] or a business to refuse to return your property. I have Jo problem paying 35 to return my property to me..Desired SettlementI just want my property back in the condition sent with all hard drive with the memory still on themBusiness Response [redacted],It is not our fault you decided to not send chargers. We have copies of all correspondence and recordings of all calls. You clearly told us to pay you and you were paid. I have no idea why you are complaining after you told us to issue you a payment (after many upset calls even considering you had forgotten to give us accurate information).

Beware of this company. Their business model involves sending you a fair and decent quote for your merchandise online and once you have shipped it to them to receive payment they diagnose your electronics with false/untrue problems. You can accept a smaller payment(about 30% of original quote) or pay a substantially marked up shipping price to return your electronics. Consumers be aware and do not do business with Quick Laptop Cash.Desired SettlementTo alert potential consumers of the risks of this business and hope to steer them elsewhere.

I never received payment and cannot contact anyone!!!I was quoted $101 for my used laptop with a bad hardrive. It was received by them on November 24, 2014. Their e-mail notification to me stated that they would send me a payment within 48 hours. Since then I have not received a payment and I have also not been able to get in contact with anyone from the company. I feel that I have been scammed and my item has been stolen by this company. Desired SettlementI want the company to either dispatch a payment of $101 to me or return my computer at no cost to me. Business Response Holy smokes, your order was delivered just before Thanksgiving, and your full payment for $101 has been processed (check your [redacted]), you called during a national holiday weekend, our voicemail clearly stated we were not available until Monday which you have not called since. Please close your complaint, there is no reason for such an irrational response.

Quick [redacted]/ AKA American Laptop Warehouse took possession of my used Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop on January 27, 2014 via [redacted] ground. Despite many phone calls to both [redacted] and [redacted] (last name unknown)at 877-211-7429, I have not received payment of $49.00. In January 2014,I was told that I did not provide an address. Address was provided on line and then confirmed via numerous phone calls, starting January 2014, with both [redacted] and [redacted]. Last phone conversation in May 2014 I was told that a check would "again" be issued.Order_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementPayment of $49.00Business Response We have spoken with you numerous times, you entered your address incorrectly, not us. We have paid you, there is no sense in a complaintConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I have not been paid the $49.00. I spoke with [redacted] January 2014 and provided him with the corrected address of [redacted]. [redacted] said that I entered no numeric only my street name, city and zip. I have called about a dozen times regarding non-payment. Each time I call [redacted] or [redacted] look at the [redacted] online banking and tell me that a check has been issued and you also see that it has not been cashed. I am then told that a new check will be issued by [redacted]. I was also told that [redacted] would call me, no such phone call. I would either like to be paid the $49 or have my exact laptop returned to me please. If you choose to return my laptop please be advised that I have the servie tag number so please do not try and send me someone else's laptop. [redacted] and [redacted], please do the right thing and pay me what is owed, no more games.Final Business Response [redacted] again, we have sent it to your corrected address. Not much more we can sayFinal Consumer Response the complaint has not been resolved. They have not responded to my last reply nor have they sent me the $49.00 that is owed. I believe that they are still "attempting" to send the check to a known wrong address so as to say that they have "paid me". I corrected the mailing address in January 2014. I also confirmed the correct address several times on the phone with them through out the last 6 months. Correct address is: [redacted].
