Response regarding ID# [redacted] The client signed an agreement that is very clearWhat he presents as a compromise is his attempt to find some way to avoid the terms of that agreement.Prior to Sept2015, the client-called a few times to ask questions after he read our publicity and marketing web pagesAs displayed there, there are two types of payments: (1) payments for services and (2) payments for postage (if any) to mail promotionalmaterialsWe set the price for our servicesWe don't set any required price for postage. Each author decides his or her own dollar amount for a postage budget for the mailing of promotional cards and book packages -- and we mail the corresponding quantityThe payment for the postage is not due until it's time for the mailing. This client made his payment for services that include set proceduresAs is customary for all authors, he submitted his book and its descriptionAfter several support services with editing, graphic design, web design, and more were provided, he approved his book's display listings on our media-only and outlets-only websites, and the design of his publicity cards and marketing cards for the printing of up to 5,blackswhite cards each.Up to this point, our working relationship was good until the very day that the postage form was emailed to himHe started sending emails saying that he had sent all of his money and all of his elderly widowed mother's moneyHe became remorseful that he had spent a lot and demanded a refundThen, he tried to transfer to a lower, less expensive level after the work for the higher level was well underwayHe wrote a threat about slandering the company online unless all or part of the money was returned. He acts as if he were being forced to mail tens of thousands of promotional cards and thousands of book packagesHe claims that we seek as much as $42,for postage! That is HIS madollar amountWe have NEVER required any dollar amount for postageWe definitely recommend promotional mailings because they are importantWe let authors know the maximum quantity that we can mailWe make suggestions about the quantity to mail, but they are merely suggestionsThe choice always belongs to the authorWe never require any client to pay even a dime for postage.Eventually, he chose to mail none (although it's obviously not a good decision to send no promotional literature to the media or to outlets)As a courtesy, we extended the mailing period, but he was firm about not providing any postage and now the time has passed. The agreement specifically states that, after services have begun, they can't be transferred (to other services), cancelled, refunded, or modified (unless applicable to modification, which these set services are not)He can't cancel and neither can weTherefore, we will continue to do our best for him even under these circumstances. Our main difficulty is that he doesn't understand that not having funds for his own chosen postage budget is not a valid reason to demand a refund, cancellation, or changes to a signed and legally binding agreement in the United States. In an email, this client claimed, “I am a Lawyer." His truthfulness is fluidHe said that a man was his “investor" and “ [redacted] ***” was backing his bookInstead, his investor is his elderly mother, whose life's savings he usedI feel compassion for him due to his issuesNevertheless, following through on his previously emailed threat by using an honorable company such as the Revdex.com as his means to publicly display statements online that could harm the reputation of this publishing company can be considered to be a seriously libeious act

He claims that we seek as much as $42,000 for postage! That is HIS made-up dollar amount. We have NEVER required any dollar amount for postage. We definitely recommend promotional mailings because they are important. We let authors know the maximum quantity that we can mail. We make suggestions about the quantity to mail, but they are merely suggestions. The choice always belongs to the author. We never require any client to pay even a dime for postage.Eventually, he chose to mail none (although it's obviously not a good decision to send no promotional literature to the media or to outlets). As a courtesy, we extended the mailing period, but he was firm about not providing any postage and now the time has passed. The agreement specifically states that, after services have begun, they can't be transferred (to other services), cancelled, refunded, or modified (unless applicable to modification, which these set services are not). His truthfulness is fluid. He said that a man was his “investor" and “[redacted]” was backing his book. Instead, his investor is his elderly mother, whose life's savings he used. I feel compassion for him due to his issues. Nevertheless, following through on his previously emailed threat by using an honorable company such as the Revdex.com as his means to publicly display false statements online that could harm the reputation of this publishing company can be considered to be a seriously libeious act.
