American Legion Post ***8:AM ** ** *** *** This is a response to the letter that was mailed to The American Legion Post 336, a complaint from a *** *** regarding her wedding reception.There was indeed a mistake made here at the Post regarding
the Pavilion being double booked As soon as I realized the problem, I contacted both parties to see what could be done to resolve the issue Upon speaking with the *** party, I offered the newly remodeled dining room, which I asked *** to come and view, and was not given a response until the week of The *** scheduled to meet with us the week of the event, and we did The Post offered tents and chairs outside, the dining room with a.c., and asked for any solution that would appease the *** party Alternate dates were offered, with a full refund included, to manage the mistake When we met with the *** party, they were implacable, and rejected any attempt to resolve the issue Unfortunately, since there was no viable option for the ***, I willingly offered the deposit back, hoping that this would allow them further options elsewhere It was truly disheartening that we could not find a suitable option.The American Legion Post 336*** ***

TierOne made no compensation offer whatsoever, other than reimbursement for expenses incurred as a result of their 15-day delay in delivering our personal property. As a direct result of their negligent handling of our shipment, I was unable to attend my wife's Mom's funeral and help with the administrative details of her death, and I completely missed our son's high school graduation. This caused significant emotional distress for our family for which I believe TierOne should offer a cash settlement. In the absence of such a settlement, I do not feel they have acted in good faith in response to our complaint. Other consumers need to be aware that TierOne does not honor its obligations and will refuse to make things right when they fail to deliver on schedule
