The only discussion around a credit check during the call was me specifically telling the rep that I did not want my credit pulled at this time. There was never authorization given by me at the end of the call to run my credit.

My husband and I jumped through hoops completing paperwork and copying of tax records and suchsince the govermnment shut down was in process. Completed the paperwork and was ready to go. I was told by the loan officer that paperwork that needed to be signed by builder and us needed to be completed and we could have closing on Friday after thanksgiving. however the appraisal came back, of which I have yet to see a copy of and they said it wasn't going to happen. because of the appraiser's report, the same appraiser that did not realize that he only looked at a portion of the property which has a 60 x 90 pole barn. Then while reveiwing my statement from the bank the company withdrew two payments totalling $650. A far cry from the $450 appraisal fee the loan offecier assurred us that wouldbe the only cost we would incur. The company also failed to notify us that they would automatically withdraw the money from our account. My husband requested a call from the manager after the loan was denied on black friday but we did not receive a call from anyone in a month, nor did we recieve a copy of the appraisal which has now cost us $650 instead of $450. Shoddy business dealings, lack of customer support and misleading customers is not the way to conduct business. I feel that they purposely mislead us to make a cheap buck.

We worked with Troy [redacted] at American Lending Solutions and he keep us abreast with everything that happened with our refinance and he always went above and beyond in answering our questions and our phone calls. We had a very good experience with them. He also made sure that we got the refinance done in a timely manner. We are very happy with our experience with American Lending Solutions, and we would recommend them to family and friends.

Review: In laster part of 2014 I was working with American Lending Solutions to refinance my home. I was working with [redacted] | Assistant Manager, who has since left the company in March 2015. I received my escrow money from my old mortgage company in October 2014 was told by [redacted] that I had to make the check out to American Lending Solutions and they would deposit my money into my escrow account at IMPAC, my new mortgage company.

The check was for $2283.59. Have cancelled check copy with their signature stamp on the back.

In the last few days of March of 2015, IMPAC sent me a an escrow shortage statement asking me to pay funds into my account. I told what I knew about American Lending Solutions and what I was told by [redacted]. They told me I had to look into it myself.

I emailed [redacted] several times only to have the emails bounce back and left numerous phone calls.

I called American Lending Solutions asked to speak to [redacted] and was given his voice mail and when I called back and asked to speak to someone else I was finally told he no longer worked for the company. Not happy about that either.

I have a woman working in the funding department on this, but I fear she is not taking care of it. Her attitude towards me is rather rude and she tries to brush me off quickly off the phone. There is no sense of desire to find my money and make this right.Desired Settlement: I want my $2283.59 escrow money back before April 21st 2015 so I can deposit it into my new escrow account. It has been miss placed for over 5 months now.

Review: On January 14th I received a phone call from this company soliciting a mortgage refinance for my home. During the conversation they asked me for my Social Security number. I didn't give them any and I specifically forbid this company to pull my credit report. Behind my back and against my wishes, they went ahead and pulled my credit report. They two men that were talking to me on the phone are: [redacted] (didn't give me his last name) and [redacted]. [redacted].

The next day, I received two credit alerts. I logged into my credit monitoring account and saw that they pulled my credit from Experian and TransUnion. I immediately sent them an e-mail reminding them that I never authorized that and asking them to send me a letter to that effect so I can rectify my record with these two companies.

They deliberately ignored my request and went to the third credit bureau, Equifax, and pulled my credit. This was done maliciously to bring my credit score down.Desired Settlement: I want them to send me an official letter stating that I did not authorize them to pull my credit from any of the aforementioned credit bureaus. I want them to send it to me at [redacted]. I also want them to contact each one of the credit bureaus and get this inquiry off my record with Experian, TransUnion and Equifax.

Response:

I am self-employed and had difficulty refinancing my mortgage because of the amount of detail involved with my taxes and income. I tried the big name banks, only to find myself 2 months into the process, endless requests for more and more paperwork.
With American Lending Solutions, I was signed and closed less than 3 weeks later. They were able to give me exactly what I wanted. They knew exactly what paperwork was needed from the start and took only hours to respond, not weeks. They went the extra mile working with my CPA and business bankers directly to streamline the process and allow me to focus on what mattered most. My business and my family. I may not be the average homeowner, but these guys were such professionals and in my opinion were the experts that I needed.

Review: I was contacted by this company on Oct 6 regarding a possible refinance of my mortgage. I advised the representative that I would be willing to discuss general information but I did not want to run my credit because I was in the process of clearing some things up on my credit before I proceeded. Throughout the call the representative seemed to understand and told me he would email me some information so I could contact him if I decided to proceed with his company. On 10/8/14 I received an email from a credit alert service advising me I had 2 new hard credit pulls. Upon investigation I found that this company pulled my credit on 10/7 in addition to a verification company they use who also pulled my credit. On 10/9/14 I called the company to ask them to remove the inquiries from my credit report since they pulled my credit without permission. The first person I spoke with said he couldn't find any information on me. He put me on hold and transferred me to a number that went to a voicemail. I left a message and called right back. I talked to another person who said he found my information. When I explained everything to him he said he was documenting everything I said but he would have to look into the matter but he would withdraw my application and make sure no o e called me again. When I pushed the matter of an illegal credit check he told me there wasn't much he could do right then because he would have to talk to the person who submitted the application and he had other things to get to. I asked him when I could expect a call back and he told me to stop strong arming him and let him do his job then he hung up on me. I called back again and got the voicemail. I left a message asking for a callback within 24 hours. I received a call back within a few minutes from someone who identified himself as the branch manager. He started off by telling me that he gets this type of complaint sometimes when they talk to the wife of a house who then talks to her husband and the husband disputes the credit check. I assured him this was not the case and advised him that I was very clear during my phone call that I did not want my credit pulled. He went on to tell me the person I was talking to has a clean record and sounds like a robot when he asks permission to run credit. I told the branch manager the person who I talked to on 10/6 was not the same person who I was just talking to. The Branch Manager advised me it was the same person which didn't make sense to me since I was told by that representative that he would have to look into it. While I was addressing the credit check he tried to go over the loan to tell me how much money he could save me. I stopped him immediately and advised him I did not authorize a credit check so there is no loan to discuss. I asked the branch manager multiple times to remove the inquiry from my credit report. He responded by telling me he was going to leave the inquiry and turn down my loan. I asked him to pull a recording of the call and he would hear my clear direction to NOT pull my credit. He refused again to remove the inquiry. He then hung up on me when I advised him I would be filing a complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to acknowledge my credit was pulled without permission. I would like the company to notify the credit bureaus that the inquiry should be removed from my credit report. I would like the company to contact FDC, the verification company they used who also pulled my credit, to have them contact the credit bureaus to remove the inquiry from my credit report.

Response:

I have left several messages with Angela [redacted] every day for a week. She has not returned any calls or my Husbands call's. I am beginning to think this is a scam, This worries me because she has all my information. This is very poor customer service.

Spoke with American Lending Solutions about possible refi on mortgage, they couldn't not offer anything that was beneficial to me. However and don't ask me why they still requested a mortgage pay off from my current lender on 2 different occasions that now I have to pay for. Nothing major but how does a business operate like this?

Review: I was solicited by American Lending Solutions on 11/15/2013 - during a very casual phone conversation regarding refinancing of our home, the sales personal said he would "look into" our situation and determine they could help us. He proceeded to ask a few questions, never stating that I was completing an application, never informing me that he would need to pull our credit and do a hard inquiry on our credit. I was very misled in his approach - now we have been solicited by numerous lending agencies that now have ALL of our personal information - some of which have very poor ratings on-line. I have contacted numerous times to get this inquiry OFF of our credit report as it was NOT authorized by me. I have left messages that have not been returned in over a week.Desired Settlement: I WANT THIS HARD INQUIRY OFF MY CREDIT REPORT - IT WAS NOT AUTHORIZED AND IT AFFECTS OUR CREDIT!!!!!!!

I've had clients that ran into issues with getting a home loan. When no one else could get it done, Josh [redacted] in the Madison office was the one to get them a loan. I've had clients get FHA and Rural USDA loans with ease. Timelines were met and quick closings were possible.
