I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.here are a few requests I believe are reasonable to move this forward .it is expected that with the entire back of the house roof being done now, that all leaks will be fully corrected as d allen company owner states it is from the exsisting back of the cape , therefore iexpect if there are any further leaks after this next section totally replaced then the back roof will be corrected until the leaks stop and if leaks continue after back roof done roof will be fixed until leaks stop at no further cost to us the homeowners as the addition roof was replaced last year due to water issues and it was disappointing to see it still leak after paying 5600.00.The roof will be expected to be done up to codeThe amount offered to do the back roof by D allen was I am requesting however that the owner of D Alllen and sons roofing, dennis be on the job and overseeing it from start to finish Also steve and karen paciorkowski will both be present when contract and warranties will be explained and both will be signing the contract I request that the contract be carefully drawn up with everything explained on it very clearly what will be done on the new roof as I believe that is a reasonable request I also request D ALLEN company to consider GUARANTEED payment will be paid to the company upon COMPLETION of contracted work Its expected that this time the roof will be properly and honestly done with no short cuts as it appeared on the addition roof If there is any further water leaks after the roof being done , that dennis says needs to be replaced to correct the problem, then that would have to be addressed and corrected at no cost I look forward to getting this issue resolved and then will call for spring quote to get other side of roof completed .

Revdex.com spoke with the business who advised he is only willing to do the back roof above where he already did the work at this time he is booked to the end of the season, he is willing to squeeze this job in but he has to have a decision by Friday October 16th. If the consumer wishes to have the work done the $1,000 will need to be placed in an escrow account prior to the job starting. The consumer did not received the vents as the roof was not pitched adequately to install them, the consumer was not charged for them. The area of the garage repair was installed where the consumer asked, if he wrote the wrong direction for repair on the contract that may be but the consumer would not have paid him if he didn't repair the correct area of the roof. The company will not be held responsible for the ceiling damage consumer is claiming, this was caused from many years of leaking. If consumer wishes to have an estimate for the front of the roof she can call for such in the spring.

reinstalled the necessary membrane. The issue is with the section to the roof the consumer did not have replaced. The area he did not work on has nothing under the shingles they are installed directly to the wood, there should be felt paper or ice and water under that area. The consumer has been advised of such and the business offered to do the remaining section of the roof for a reduced cost of $1000, which the consumer refused. The business has spoken with the Lancaster building inspector who advised he is right to not warranty the roof because the section he didn't do has not ice and water or felt paper under the shingles. Lancaster building inspector has stated the remaining roof needs to be replaced. The company has sent a crew out who removed and reinstalled all his work to ensure no issues. The company is willing to go to arbitration if the consumer wishes to resolve this dispute.
