I can’t answer her claims about the time line in which this account was turned over to collections, but I assure you that our client’s do all they can to collect their money before the hire a collectionsAMS did explain to the consumer how the dispute process works and what her rights wereShe brought the dispute to our office that dayAlthough the time line she has for communicating is incorrect, AMS received the dispute on June 13, On June 14, we spoke to our client in regards to the dispute, our client was going to provide additional photos and information to show the validity of the debtOn June 14, the consumer called AMS to let us know that she would be flying out of the country and that if we needed to communicate with her we could call her husband, on this phone call we explained to her that we had spoken to our client and that we were gathering additional documents to help answer her disputeOn June 24, the Consumer called our office to let us know she was back in the country and to ask what the status of the dispute wasShe was told at that time that we had gathered all of the documents that we needed and felt that the debt was validThe consumer asked if she could come to our office to get a copy of those documents we told her she could and prepared a large packet of pictures and documents that the consumer never showed up to pick upAs for her calling us several times, that was the last time we spoke to her, she was very aggressive in our conversation and refused to pay any of the debtWe did discuss a settlement at that time but she refused to pay anything, claimed she didn’t owe any thing and was not going to pay anythingHer claim of certified mail, Jeff not being willing to talk to her etcmakes no sense AMS was willing to talk to the consumer but the consumer didn’t want to talk, she just wanted to yell and hear what she wanted to hear, not the factsAs for “The next thing I knew it was reported to my credit” is false, we didn’t report to her credit until August 2, As for her claim that we did not respond to her attorney’s letter, we didHer account had already been turned over to our attorney by the time we had received a letter from her attorney, so therefore we forwarded her letter on to our attorney so that could communicate with the consumers attorneyAs for the debtors desire to “solve this situation” we gave her every chance to resolve the situation, we explained to her that we would be willing to discuss a settlement, she refusedWe gave her plenty of time, two months, to get the account resolved before it reported to her creditWe did responded to her attorney’s letter, we forwarded it to our attorney to handle This complaint is absolutely false!!!!!
