Review: One of the cabinets is either defective or was cracked with attempted repair (putty) during installation. There is a clear crack in the bottom of the cabinet and the doors do not shut properly. I noticed this and called American Marble and Granite. I sent pictures and was told that the cabinet was defective. 2 and a half months later I was told that the manufacturer would only provide a frame. I picked up the frame which looks like a large picture frame. I am not a remodel professional and thought that would not be an adequate repair. I was told that was what the manufacturer provided and that because it was not an installation problem that I would have to pay to have the frame installed. I hired a professional re-modeler to install the frame and when he arrived he informed me the whole cabinet, less the doors, would need to be replaced. In the crack there is putty (that I did not put there) so it appears that either the cabinet is defective or the installer either attempted to fix the defective cabinet or it was damaged and attempted to be repaired during the install. In trying to rectify this situation with American Marble and Granite, I continue to be told there is nothing they can do as it is a manufacturer issue. I have e mailed the owner and left two phone messages for him and have not heard from him. When I informed a staff member of American Marble and granite that I was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com, I received this information in an e mail "I also would like to inform you that posting wrong or false review to any website is subject to pay big amounts of fine. This is the law. This became law very recently and we are about to open a law suit to one of the false review owner. Again, American K and B can not be held responsible for the damage that happened a few months later the installation" The quote is an exact excerpt from the staff member's e mail. I construed those remarks to be threatening.Desired Settlement: I would like the cabinet replaced at no cost to me.

I am rejecting this response because: I can not see any type of response, as in remediation, listed. I am enclosing pictures of the cabinet in which one can clearly see there is putty. This is the first time I am hearing about any type of temperaure issue.

Also, the response references that I complained 5 months later. My initial complaint was approximately 1 month after the installation.

I appreciate any assisatnce the Revdex.com can offer.
