American Metal Roofs, Inc.

Two days ago my wife and I both went to American Metal Roofs in Charlotte MI and looked at products and scheduled an appointment for today, 8-23-2014. My wife had out of town business and therefore was not present, when "[redacted]" came to my house, ostensibly to give me an accurate price proposal for a new aluminum roof.

[redacted] then informed me of the company policy which prohibited him from making a price quote without both of us being present.

Seldom have I been this insulted. At first astounded that someone would tell me, a 63 yr old retired police officer that I would not be allowed to get a price quote without my wife being present.

[redacted] was not allowed to talk to me.

[redacted] called his office where a female tried to get me to reschedule this appointment. As I stated. this was the most ridiculous and insulting premise I have ever heard of.

Later I understood why they would try this ploy. Don't do anything without an opportunity to sell both and get signatures on a contract. This appointment was to be for a price quote. Before I became a police officer I was a fraud investigator for ten years.

American Metal Roofs is using deceptive sales tactics.

No quote was measured or given because their opportunity to sell a contract to two retired people was just not there

First I want to say that we are only half way through our project. I would like to say other than the noise we would never know that the crew is here. On the first day as they were leaving I did not check to see if they had locked the back gate so my fault, I let the dogs out we have 2 90lb black labs and 2 papillion puppies. Even though they were getting ready to leave they took the time to get my labs back, the puppies didn't make it far. I could not be more greatful for the help they gave.
