In response to your letter dated May 16, 2016, we are drafting a formal response to the complaint filedby Mr***Mr*** purchased his motorcycle from our store on March 4, 2016, the followingevents occurred since that time:The customer contacted our service department inquiring about
leaking fork seals two days after hispurchaseWe asked that he bring the bike to our storeWe explained that all of our motorcycles aresold as-is, and he was given an estimate for repairsWe offered to split the cost of those repairs, sincethe customer had just purchased the bikeBoth parties were satisfiedOur store then discoveredinternal issues with the forks once we opened them upThis resulted in additional time to repair, aswell as additional costOur store covered the additional costMichael picked up his bike and wassatisfied.Fast forward to present day and we received the complaint at issue hereI personally spoke to Mr.*** today for approximately minutes on the phoneHe explained his frustrations with not fullyunderstanding the leasing program as well as his frustrations with his mechanical issuesI offered myapologies for the miscommunicationI explained that leasing is a complex transaction and perhaps weshould have explained things more completely and perhaps he should have reviewed the contractsmore carefully before signingWe both agreed there was fault by both parties.I offered to service his bike at no charge when the bike came due for his next serviceHe mentionedthat he prefers to do his own service work and declinedI then offered to sell him an extended warrantyfor our cost, which would result in a sizeable discount from our standard priceHe is discussing it withhis wife and will let us knowI have provided him with my direct contact number and explained I will beon vacation for the next daysI encouraged Mr*** to contact me any time, and I will makemyself available.I again offered my apologies for Mr***'s poor purchasing experienceI explained that I takesituations such as his very seriously and would take corrective action.At American Motorcycle, we always put the customer first and customer service is of the utmostimportanceThis is why we have been in business for so long with an A+ Revdex.com ratingI hope thisinformation assists you in the processing of Mr***'s complaintIf there is anything else yourequire, do not hesitate to contact us

businesspractice is that we do not unwind finalized deals.After discussion with the bank and our Mr. [redacted], we have decided it best to make an exception toour company policy. We have unwound the deal with Mr. [redacted]. He has returned the motorcycle.We will refund his deposit of $1300.00. We have contacted Mr. [redacted] and left a message to obtainthe credit card information used for $500 of the $1300 deposit in order to process that portion of hisrefund. We will mail a check for the remaining $800 when Mr. [redacted] confirms the mailing address.We work very hard to communicate clearly with all customers. I am rejecting this response because:The dealership has Not accepted responsibility for its actions. The dealership is still lying in regards to what occurred. I will consider the matter resolved upon proof of emails between the sales manager and myself, and a formal written apology. Monetarily the issue has been remedied, but blatant disregard for the facts/truth of how the company conducted itself is unacceptable.
