I have reviewed the complaint and have also had to respond to one from the MO Attorney General. I was somewhat surprised by her filing the complaints since we have worked a great deal on her vehicle at no cost and have made many calls to help her save on the parts. I have also covered
for all the parts and labor spent on this truck. The truck is in running condition and she is driving it right now. The noise existed when she brought it in and we have reduced it some but not completely. The engine she has was a rebuilt Jasper engine. She has paid us a total of $for the labor and parts. The remaining balance is $1487.07. I am willing to absorb the remaining balance of $in order to bring this complaint to a close. My company has gone above and beyond what is normally expected in service. However, we do understand that she is on a fixed income and we will not pursue collection of the balance. I did give her the opportunity if she did pay the balance of $1487.07, I was willing to purchase a used engine at $(at my expense, paying the difference)and install it for her at no additional cost
