AMS is billing my husband [redacted] for Citations on behalf of [redacted] , Louisiana which we have never visited We are senior citizens in FL My husband received a threatening letter from AMS stating that a judge was going to take action for two citations from the Town of [redacted] , Louisiana I called their customer service number and the customer rep verified that the [redacted] referenced was born in the 50s I explained that my husband was in his upper 70s and we had never been to [redacted] and we are permanent Florida residents She said oh they are just trying to get someone to pay it I thought the matter was resolved until I received a second notice in the mail todayThey are threatening legal action They provide no information for disputing the action, just payment

We've received several letters from this company, stating my husband owes money for "outstanding citation(s)" in his home stateHe has contacted the appropriate agencies, but they have nothing on record that he owesAMS has even stated they've issued arrest warrant(s) regarding this issueThey do not tell what the original citations are for
They give a website to pay, but there is no information about this business on that siteThey give a po box for their mailing address, but no physical address

I paid a ticket on 10/of I have been receiving letters from this agency every since I paid it trying to get me to pay them money
He'll receive calls and letters repeatedly I have informed them that the ticket was paid it was never late they told me that I was a liar and it wasn't paid and I should pay my bills I told them it is not my responsibility to give you the information that you need to make sure that you are doing your job correctly so I paid it and paid it ahead of time I should not have ever been on their list or should I have been harassed for plus years

We are disputing the ticket and sent them information on it on 2/3/
We received a letter from AMS on 1/28/about a ticket that my son had passed by while bus was unloadingThe area in question has two lanes on both sides and a mediumThis occurred in 10/and we received the letter on 1/28/telling us that we had until 12/31/to pay the $ ticketI sent a letter with copy and even information I found about the Bus Safety and what the law statedI called and sent them a request for an appeal to this ticketWe had not heard from them since I sent the letter and copies in 2/We received this letter from them yesterday 10/31/requesting payment and threats to file legal action,court cost, penaltiesThis is totally ridiculous It did not matter that we requested a hearing and sent them all the paperwork and copiesThey don't care they just threaten and want the money

American Municipal Services just sent me a "Past Due Notice" claiming that I had previously been notified by the "School Bus Safety Program" of the City of Dallas that I committed a "School Bus Safety Program" criminal violation (ordinance NoXXXXX) for not stopping when the bus was loading and/or unloading students, and that the City of Dallas supposedly sent photographs with the said notification demonstrating how the violation was committedThey also claim that, because I never responded, I now have no right to appeal
First of all, I do not recall committing any such violationSecond, I read the mentioned ordinance and it clearly says that such type of violation is a civil offense and not a criminal oneIn addition the ordinance state that: "The imposition of a civil fine under this article is not a conviction or criminal offense and may not be considered a conviction or criminal offense for any purpose." Moreover, the ordinance indicates that the notification should clearly state the location and time of the violation, none of which was stated by this company's notificationFinally, I also checked the City of Dallas website where they list past and present violations/fines and I did find a yr old speeding fine I already paid on time but nothing elseIn fact, the Citation Number included in this company's is not recognized by the City of Dallas websiteIn other words, I strongly believe this is a fraudulent action by this company and that it is attempting to unlawfully collect money corresponding to non-existent fines

This company has harrased myself by phone calls at 3:00am numerous times as well as representatives using foul language

This is for a civil traffic penalty from March I received a past due notice for this citation in total of $The citation number is TX-XX-XXX-XXXXXXXXXWhen I logged in to view this information, the address listed for me was my old address from years prior, yet I was able to receive a past due bill at my current addressI have been at my current address for the last years, am registered to vote here, have a valid DL listed at this addressI find it suspicious that I never received an original notice AND have an old address listed in the company's portal but have no problem receiving a past due notice with late fees added

Received a letter from this company for a citation that apparently happened years agoWhen I called they stated that prior letters were sent to my previous addressWhen I pressed for more information she yelled at me for being rude for questioning her facts and hung up on meLetter states that I ran a school bus stop sign south of where I live in a residential neighborhood on a Wednesday at 4:near Fort WorthThere is no possible way for this to be trueI work in Dallas and get off at 4pm, never been to the neighborhood this supposedly happened in, don't even come close to this location on my way home and the video evidence shows two other cars and a school bus also "running" the stop signWhen we looked at google street view of the neighborhood it does not appear to match the videoThere are many real facts that prove that this letter and this company are a scam
